HOTEL TNT MIRADOR — Hotel in Taganga

THEFT of MOBILE PHONES while sleeping! I can say two positive things about the hotel: amazing view and lovely decoration, plus the food – when it had arrived after an hour of waiting – was delicious too. BUT: Someone STOLE my two friends´ mobile phones while we were sleeping and the hotel didn´t care at all! Only a day after the theft we managed to speak to the hotel manager who was a lovely and polite lady but useless as a manager since she smiled at us and talked a lot, but apparently didn`t care either. She even told us that she was the only one who had access to all the keys and that our door was a security door (it wasn´t possible to lock it from the inside). So it´s clear, that it must have been someone from the hotel who robbed my friends! I was just lucky, because due to habit, I put my phone underneath my pillow, so the robber couldn´t have seen it. They never offered us a proper apology, nor did they investigate, let alone, compensate my friends in any way. That wasn´t all: on our last day, our room - which was in an area recently constructed - was partially flooded with water from the roof (it even dripped through the ceiling) and our neighbour´s room was even half flooded. Who swept the floor? My friend! As they didn´t bother to come up before 11am (it was around 8am). So rather stay away from this „hotel“ with terrible...

We stayed at the hotel with a little of precaution as the reviews were sketchy but found this place was actually “the gem” he had a long trip and arrived to found this beautiful spot, we had to climb the stairs but the view was way too worthy (they were not so many as described in another posts) We ate dinner and the portions were on point, I ate a salmon cooked to perfection and my friends burgers looked amazing, then we hit the dance floor and music was good, Our server Sol took great care of us all night, was very kind and was always back on us, the price is enough to experience a night of fun before heading somewhere else, Costumer service was good and rooms were very clean and provided...

Horrible experience. First, don’t bring heavy luggage because there’s no elevator and a lot of stairs. The staff won’t help you carry your suitcase, and there is no access for handicapped guests. The staff is rude; they even wanted to charge me for water. They said breakfast was included, but your only options are eggs or more eggs. On top of that, the staff threw a party that lasted until 4 AM, and it was loud! The pool was smaller than expected...
