The photos are quite misleading. While the design of the villas is beautiful, they are not well-maintained. Our villa felt shabby and was noticeably unclean in some areas. The restroom had no ventilation, and there were large patches of mold in the shower and even mushrooms growing — which is very concerning. Ants were everywhere, the pillows were uncomfortable, and basic amenities like hand soap were missing. The coffee maker was also dirty. Overall, this was far below...

Disappointed in the way management handled our concerns about the cleanliness of the villa on arrival. We dealt with dozens of centipedes throughout our stay. We understand this is Costa Rica, but our previous stays deep in the rainforest had fewer insects than this place. I guess bringing up the subject once is considered inappropriate to the host.
