Sea View Apartments, Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

We had a really enjoyable stay in the sea view apartments, booked through Airbnb.

Beautiful views and amazing weather, it was an awesome location that offered quick access to Old Town. Which was a 4min Uber ride that cost roughly €4-6 or a 10-minute walk, which cost 700 calories due to the heat 😄🌞.

Our host provided basic kitchen utensils, and the bathroom had relevant utilities. WiFi across the apartment, Netflix preloaded fresh fruits and even complimentary wine. Our host was brilliant and offered loads of advice and places to visit and was really communicative. The apartment was squeaky, clean, and modernised. There was also a local shop about 100 yards away, with very minimal stock, but had essential items.

The worst thing about this stay was the travel to the apartment. The apartment sits at the top of a steady sloop that is very narrow, with cars parked on either side and is a pain to get up and down. Apparently, this road is the most hated by locals and Uber drivers (noticed this as about 15 cancelled on us overall during a 4 day stay in Dubrovnik). We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights with 2 families. This place was absolutely disgusting in hygiene. The cutlery was un-usable and rusty. The beds were old and when u slept the bed springs were piercing ur back. There was no light in the second bathroom and had to use our mobile phone for light. We had discussed these issues with the property owner who was unaccepting of the complaints we made.
