We had an incredible time visiting Banje Beach in Dubrovnik, Croatia. It was the epitome of a perfect beach day, filled with sun, sand, and crystal-clear waters.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The beach's location, just a stone's throw away from the Old Town, offered stunning views of the city walls and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. We couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and appreciation for the picturesque setting.
The beach itself was pristine, with soft golden sand that invited us to lay down our towels and soak up the sun. The water was refreshingly clear and inviting, perfect for swimming and cooling off from the summer heat. We spent hours splashing in the gentle waves and enjoying the calming sound of the sea.
What truly impressed us was the range of facilities and services available at Banje Beach. We had the option to rent comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, allowing us to relax in style. The beach bar provided us with refreshing drinks and delicious snacks, ensuring we stayed energized throughout the day. The attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Banje Beach also offered a variety of water sports and activities for those seeking a bit of adventure. We couldn't resist the temptation and tried our hand at jet skiing, which added an extra thrill to our beach excursion.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Dubrovnik's iconic Old Town from the beach. As we sunbathed and swam, we were treated to a postcard-worthy panorama that made us appreciate the beauty and charm of this historic city even more.
We left Banje Beach with sun-kissed skin, unforgettable memories, and a longing to return. If you're visiting Dubrovnik, we highly recommend spending a day at Banje Beach. It's a slice of paradise where you can bask in the natural beauty, indulge in seaside pleasures, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of this enchanting coastal...
Read moreThe advantage of this public beach is that it is close to the old town (5 minutes by foot) and crystal sea of beautiful colors and a beautiful view of the old town. You can take great photos for social networks, and that's it. I would not recommend this beach because like any public beach, it is full of people, which I don't like. Half of the beach is under concession (with deckchairs and umbrellas), the other part is a "public beach" where you can bring a towel and sunbathe. Banje beach looks like a beach that is half for the "privileged", half for the "poor". You can find better beaches than this one. The beach bar is unbearable during the day, unless you like to eat and drink in the...
