Hotel Bonaca — Hotel in Grad Makarska

Even if this hotel offer a half board service at very good price, cleanliness is far far away from even decent. Late check in room where the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned for a long period, rusty and neglected shower cabin, a hair in the siphon, the rusty stains on linen, wet towells. In a room with additional bed for a toddler (which was regular bed and this is great thing) you don`t have any place or a peg to hang something, the south room has no terrace but only the fence on the door just above the caffe bar so you can not even put a towell there. For 9 days our towells were changed twice and the rest of the time were left dirty on the floor where we put them or maids even returned them and set them back over the shower cabin. They did not use vacuum cleaners at all. The hallways, windows, the mirrors in the dining room were dirty and neglected as well. The worst thing was that we have regularly sat down for a meal at the filthy tables and stained table covers and that was treated as quite normal, the cuttlery and everything else gave us a feeling of low level of care about hygiene. The location of the hotel is super, the terrace of the hotel is wonderful, staff also, kind and smiling, the food is fine, the breakfast could be improved but the dinner is very tasty with special praise for the home made soup each evening. This could be a great hotel if they just raise a cleanliness and hygiene into a highest possible level but till then, this is not experience we would love to repeat or...

The room was clean and basic- but fine for what we needed. ||The staff were friendly, sometimes too relaxed- on their phones while serving in the gift shop etc, but were always polite. ||The food was nice. ||Pool area was good- the pool was a bit too cold for us to enjoy but ok to nip in when the weather got very hot. ||It is less than a 5 min walk to the promenade and then right takes you to the famous Zlatni rat, or left a longer walk takes you to Bol. Bol in absolutely beautiful and there are many stalls and little shops on the walk too. Bol was lovely at night also with a great selection of bars and restaurants. ||Also, all activities, as far as we could tell, were in French as the majority of tourists there were French. Bien que le transfert de l'aéroport à l'hôtel soit un peu long (les plus belles plages de Croatie se méritent) cet établissement est très bien situé. Les plages sont à 5 minutes à pieds ce qui évite d'être dans la foule de touristes et le centre ville à peine plus loin.||||La chambre famille (vrai T3) à été rénovée il y a peu de temps je pense. La salle de bain est nickel, il y a beaucoup de rangements, seul les sommiers en bois qui craquent et la taille ridiculement petite des couettes nous a dérangé.||Le ménage est fait régulièrement et bien fait ( les pyjamas des enfants et leurs doudous pliés et posés sur l’oreiller ;-)). Les draps sont changés tous les deux jours et les serviettes quotidiennement. ||Au restaurant, les plats sont variés, frais, et bien cuisinés. il n'y a pas de files d'attente et le personnel de salle est agréable et serviable. Nous avons fêté l'anniversaire de notre garçon sur place et le cuisinier nous a fait un délicieux gâteau qui commandé pour 8 a très largement contenté 15 personnes. Pour ceux qui ont fait la fête avec petit poney en discothèque le snack permet de se lever tard. les garçons du bar sont toujours présents et souriant pour servir les cocktails.||Un grand merci à l'équipe du mini club pour le travail fait auprès de nos enfants que l'on avait du mal à voir en journée. Donc merci à Brasília, Sydney, Venise.||La piscine est grande bien entretenu et il y a suffisamment de transat pour tout le monde.||Les animateurs sont assez présents sans être omniprésents. Les activités sont sympas (aquagym, jeux apéros et café, mini disco, et piste de danse) et sans être d'une grande originalité suffissent à se détendre en s'amusant et c'est bien cela que nous venons chercher. Les spectacles du soir tiennent la route mais tourne sur une semaine donc sur un séjour de 15 jours il y a des répétitions. ||A titre personnel, je ne suis pas fan de l'idée des noms façon "casa de papel". C'est rigolo mais cela mais une barrière entre les animateurs et nous et rend un peu impersonnelle la relation. Je sais que nous ne partagerons pas une colocation ensemble mais j'aurai préféré vous appeler par vos prénoms.||Pour le coté culturel du pays, il y a vraiment de quoi faire et les excursions proposées par l'hôtel sont variées et pour une fois avec des tarifs très raisonnables.||||Pour terminer, nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ces vacances.
