Hotel Paris, Opatija — Hotel in Grad Opatija

One of the best hotels in Opatija. We are coming to Opatija every few months, and we stayed in many hotels, but Paris is the best option definitely. We really like the location, it’s in the city centre, just in the middle of Everything. Few minutes walk from all the beaches, supermarkets, restaurants. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Even bigger than all the other rooms in Opatija. Standard double room is usually 20m2 in most hotels there, but in hotel Paris it’s 25m2, which means a lot, especially if you are travelling with kids. Everything is very clean, the bathroom is very big and modern, the toiletries are perfect- you have everything you might need and the quality is very good. The staff is very friendly and professional, you have a feeling like you are at home and very welcomed. What we really liked is the parking, they have a garage which is very rare in Opatija as well, and the price of the parking is 20€ which is at least 5 € cheaper than in other hotels. We stayed in this hotel few times and we are truly happy that every time it’s even better. They really keep on doing their best for the guests.

The restaurant is very nice too, we really enjoyed the breakfast, the selection of food was great and everything was super tasty and of best quality.

The hotel is also kids friendly, it has a kids play area. You can use it for free 24/7 which is great if the weather outside is bad.

We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Paris in Opatija. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable family vacation. Its location is perfect — just a short walk to two excellent beaches, Tomasevac and the main city beach, both ideal for children.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere for the whole family. The hotel restaurant is spacious with a very good breakfast selection, and we especially enjoyed sitting on the beautiful terrace with coffee or drinks, overlooking the park and the elegant architecture of Opatija.

Everything worth visiting in Opatija is within walking distance, which made exploring the town easy and enjoyable. The staff were very kind and accommodating, which made the hotel feel warm and welcoming — almost like home. Our children felt so happy and comfortable that they left the hotel with heavy hearts and are already looking forward to coming back.

A special thank you to Ismar at the reception, who was exceptionally helpful with our children and always responsive to our requests. His kindness and professionalism made a big difference during our stay.

The room was clean and we had a great view on the 4th floor. Breakfast was also very good. The service was exceptionally great. They helped us with everything, especially with parking the car (big thanks to Nora, she is the best).

The only „negativ“ thing we have to note is that we weren‘t allowed to park our car at the hotel on one day due to an event in the city. Nobody told us in the morning (yes there was a little sign at the reception, but who reads that?). We were told we would get the money for parking at the hotel back (because we had to pay for a separate parking space). However, on the last day we were told that they cant refund us the money because it was clearly stated at the sign that you cant reach the hotel on this specific day by car. We know its the managers desicion but next time it would be nice to comunicate that in advance, because if we had known we would have left the car at the hotel that day.
