HOUSE 1923 - Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Dimos Pano Lefkaron

Nobody greeted us, I said “hello”, and two employees did not react at all :)))) we were to leave at this very moment. But unfortunately we didn’t :D After taking menus by ourselves, we were waiting for 20 minutes for a waiter, coming to the counter to order, and calling her for 4 times, she came and told me “I have other tables, if you don’t want to wait you can go”. That what we did. Just rude. I really hope you going to fail with the business.

Let’s reconstruct the timeline. I entered the restaurant and approached the counter. Said “Hello” and smiled to both of you. I didn’t get any reaction, you didn’t even look at me, even though I was standing a meter from you. So, I said, “Sorry are you open for food?” and only then you replied. Okay, maybe you’re tired or something: I was thinking. We’ve discussed which meat you have, and I went to the table outside. You never offered any drinks, even a glass of water, which is common thing to do in a restaurant. Then in about ten minutes of waiting I came back to the counter as the waiter was going back and forth to three tables (as I recall) inside and never reached us to take an order. So, I came to the counter to order, and extra politely and smiling told you “We are ready to order”. You didn’t want to take an order and just sent me back to my table to wait (Smiled? No. Being nice? No.) After five minutes more I came inside and waived to you; you showed me that you see me. After the next five minutes I came inside again, already not smiling, and frustrated. You went for a waiter to the kitchen; she was doing something with food. You brought her back and she showed me that you have a table to take an order before us. “Ok” I showed you. In a couple of minutes, the waiter came to me and said “If you don’t want to wait you can just go“. Nobody smiled to me at the place, nobody offered me a glass of water, nobody was (or is) sorry for us waiting and having an unpleasant experience. In your reply you continued your line saying the kitchen was closed then blaming me for trying to get in front of somebody. No. I wanted to drink, and have my order taken, so my family can eat. After more than twenty minutes all your service was saying: “You don’t want to wait – you can just go away”. With your reply it seems, you think you did everything right. Okay, there are plenty restaurants which take slightly different approach. In 20 minutes after we enjoyed drinks and food at another place. Staying in Lefkara and looking for somewhere to eat we went to this restaurant whick looked lovely. We ordered one vegan dish and I decided to go for the lamb chops, one of the most expensive items on the menu. I asked if I could swap the French fries that come with the chops for an order of tzaktziki. Sure the waitress said I'll note to remove the fries and add the tzaktziki (in other words extra charge but we're on holiday so we said nothing). 40 minutes later the chops hadn't arrived, two tables that came in a good 15 minutes after us had been served and I asked the waitress if there was a problem. No she said and disappeared. 10 minutes later I gave up, we paid and left with no tip. The waitress's attitude was rude and extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. The chickpea salad was good as was the tzaktziki but I wouldn't recommend this...

This review is for the restaurant specifically. My mother, Sister and I had lunch here a few weeks back and it was a very lovely experience. The staff was kind and the food was incredible. I’m not really sure why the other reviews are saying the portions are small, when they have to remember, this is a tavern style restaurant and you’re meant to buy multiple dishes and have a sharing style eating experience. Maybe the staff should mention this Guest order to avoid any confusion. We got a variety of different dishes and they all went incredibly together.
