Staying here was definitely the highlight of my visit to Cyprus. After a night at a wedding on the coast, it was an easy drive to the historic village of Lefkara, famed for lace and silverware. It's busy during the day but when the visitors leave, you can wander the streets in peace and soak up the atmosphere.||The Iosiphis House has all the modern conveniences you want in a traditional 100 year old property. I chose the large room with a balcony overlooking the street, very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and in a quiet part of town. My top tips - the Pavilion restaurant is the best for dinner - eat breakfast in your apartment or go to the owner's cafe nearby - it's called Sweet and Delicious.||I felt like a villager - and a member of the family - after just a couple of nights and would very happily return - there is so much to see in the Troodos mountains. Another top tip - don't miss the nearby family-owned Ktima Christoudia Winery. Final top tip, don't drive in the village. You don't have to. There's free parking near the house, just ring...
Read moreMy partner and I are staying here right now! We've spent 1 night here so far and couldn't be happier. ||It's exactly as you see in the pictures - cute, cosy and traditional.||Easy to find using Google maps. We arrived 2 hours early (check in was at 2 and we arrived at 12) but the host was incredibly kind and helpful, and let us check in early. ||Beds are comfortable, and it's completely silent, which made for a perfect nights sleep. ||Great location - a 1 minute walk to all of the shops and cafes etc. Although do bare in mind that it's located on a steep hill. ||The shower could do with an upgrade, as the water pressure is very weak. ||Overall, we're having a lovely time and it's perfect for if you want to feel like a local. We're coming back to Lefkara at the end of the month and will probably...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed at Iosiphis Stonebuilt House in September 2020. We found our apartment very clean and we enjoyed the internal courtyard. Our room had an AC and quiet ceiling fans. The property also has free parking. Even though the house is next to the village's center, it was peaceful and quiet there. The owner (Efthymios) and his wife Linda were very friendly. They have a bar 5 minutes walk from the accommodation, where they provide delicious breakfast (at...
