When there was no light at the end of the tunnel, a beacon shined bright for us at Kallis. It was a Sunday night, and all was quiet in the beautiful village of Lefkara. There stood a hungry family, with two tired kids, who'd been turned away from the only open establishment in the village which I wont name as they dont even deserve a mention. (Adults only apparently.) Well that turned out to be a Godsend, as we would have never found Kallis and the wonderful Anna who made sure we were not only fed, but who treated us with such great hospitality that the love was abundent.

This place is more than just a snack bar. Its much more. From the wonderful gyros, the burgers, the salads, the freshly made Limonata, the beautiful food all prepared with love and attention to detail, this establishment exudes FAMILY. When you eat there you feel like you are part of that family. When you leave, you miss the family. These guys even offered to help me find my ancestral home in the village, which I had no clue where it was located. Mamma soon found out for us and had we stayed longer in sure would have taken us there.

This is a genuinely lovely traditional restaurant that immediately makes you feel welcome with its charming atmosphere. What really sets this place apart, besides the fantastic food, is the incredible team. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is simply amazing—attentive without being intrusive. Now, for the food: it was, in a word, amazing! I specifically ordered the Moussaka, and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was perfectly layered, rich, and truly tasted like a homemade traditional masterpiece. If you visit, the Moussaka is an absolute must-try!
