Lovely hotel / apartments, situated on the outskirts of Larnaca. If you want rest and relaxation this is the perfect spot. ||||Rooms: More than adequate, with plenty of space, very clean. Cleaners come regularly and there will be a clean room / do not disturb door hang signs inside the room for use. Cleaner very welcoming and helpful, will be happy to change or provide pool towel if needed. There is a small fridge provided and a kettle. Advise you bring drinks sachets to use. Nice fresh clean towels provided. Do not have shower going full pelt, as water will seep out and flood the room! (found out by own experience)! TV (but only Cypriot channels) and free Wifi provided, which covers most of the hotel. ||||Complex: Lovely and sunny, with a small café, which provides breakfast and snacks. There is no bar area and the reception area is not manned. Stock up on your booze if needed a the local supermarket or Kiosk next door. There is a telephone number provided if you need to Whatsapp or Text for contacting the family that run this hotel. The family were brilliant and even have a very friendly Chihuahua called Charlie running around in the mornings to say hello. Family are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. You will see them pottering around the hotel doing various jobs and maintenance. ||||Swimming Pool: Lovely and clean, very refreshing! Good size. Beware though, the martial used at the edge of the pool area is very abrasive, so if you sit on the edge and slide off into the pool it will scratch the back of your legs! But a lovely pool and area to sunbath in and relax, in the sun pretty much all day!||||Local Area: Olga runs the Kiosk next door, lovely lady who will go out of her way to help. I asked if she had any hair mouse to sell and she didn’t, but she gave me hers for duration of my stay. Very friendly and full of local information. Speaks brilliant English! If you’re reading this say her to her for me. Basic beach bar complex just opposite hotel. Café very slow though. Beach area, pleasant and will cost 2.5 Euros for sunbed hire. The sea is like getting into a bath, temperature is lovely!!!! Also, opposite hotel is the bus stop into Larnaca (Bus No. 425), will also take you to airport. Runs every 20 mins and the driver will tell you which stop you need if unsure. Very cheap also! Just up the way from the hotel on the right are various supermarkets, shops and restaurants. If you want to stay local we used a restaurant called ‘Daniel’. Food and service second to none. And if you wanted a late drink try the London Bar (run by Cypriots). They play music and have a pool table and is a good mix of lots of nationalities and the size of the drinks are VERY generous!||||Overall: We had a group booking and pretty much took over the hotel as attending an event. If you are a larger booking make sure you pre-book at the restaurants so they can cater for you. Loved the local area, and for the price and value for money this hotel is second to none, but is in a quite area as stated before. Absolutely loved Cyprus and are booking again...
Read morePLEASE Avoid this place. It ruined part of our trip, and no guest should ever be treated this way. They are extremely rude and have never seen such an attitude before. First time to write a review but I’ll post screenshots to show how unprofessional they are! We were falsely accused of using the bed linens to clean the floor, something we absolutely didn’t do. When we clearly said we didn’t do that, the manager didn’t believe us at all. We checked in late around 10 PM, left the room by 10 AM the next morning (or even earlier), and we left everything clean and untouched. Still, she acted like we were lying and kept pushing the story that the maid found the room in a bad condition. Instead of listening to what we said, she basically decided we were guilty without any proof. Why would I clean the floor with the linens that we will sleep and use in the same night? NOTING THAT WE LEFT MONEY ON THE BED FOR THE MAIDS AS A TIP BEFORE WE WENT OUT AND THEY TOOK THE TIPS! How the maids are accussing us of this while they took the tips? Isnt it weird?
She told us the maid will not clean the room and take it as it or leave it. When we went back we found our linen that we have left clean as it is and the room is clean. Then She kept changing her story. First, she said she told the maid not to touch anything in the room. Then later, she said the maid decided to clean it and had every right to do so. So which version is true? You can’t blame guests based on stories that keep shifting.
Instead of apologizing for the weong accusation, she insisted that we did something wrong!
We had ants in the room, but we didn’t complain because we arrived late at night and there is no one in the hotel, so we didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. But when we brought it up after being accused, she blamed us for the ants too, as if we somehow caused them. Are we seriously expected to believe ants showed up in the first few minutes of us entering the room, before we even ate or unpacked?
She also randomly assumed that we checked out early A WHOLE NIGHT. Why would she ask if we checked out early a whole night with all our belongings and bags in the hotel, even though we never said that?? And the stay was fully prepaid. Asking this question without any reason is really weird.
When we defended ourselves, she claimed our response was aggressive and said she would report us as “dangerous” guests. That was just a way to silence us. We never said anything threatening we were simply upset (with good reason) for being blamed for something we didn’t do. But she tried to twist our words to paint us as the problem.
The whole experience felt deeply unfair. I’ve never felt so judged and mistreated. Whether it was discrimination or just very unprofessional behavior, what happened here should not happen to any guest.
