Ensana Butterfly Health Spa Hotel — Hotel in Cheb District

We arrived with our grand kids hoping to find a pleasant hotel to rest and relax in the supposed "Health Spa", this was not the entire case... Our arrival was extremely cold, with lack of sympathy and help, especially the receptionist who even dared to insult me, telling me to "not cry" when i was trying to find out what she was saying with her lack of english skill. I must also add that i've created this account solely to inform potential guests of how disappointing and almost depressing this hotel really is.||The service was probably the most disappointing aspect of everything, they are ALL incompetent, unprofessional, impolite and their lack of skill in european languages is impressively low in comparison to other hotels we visited in the area. The servants all have a high self esteem and prefer to be impolite rather than follow any instruction you give them.||The breakfast which was said to be "luxurious" was really quite the opposite. The service was no better than in the lobby, they did not serve drinks at the table and even tried to give me and my grand kids a lesson still being, least to say, unfriendly. The few servants that were present in the room were behind the bar, having conversations with each other. They also had very little choices in the food on the buffet which did not look appealing or even straight up disgusting.||The "Health Spa" which is even in the hotel name.... is something that i either could not find or did not exist. There was a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, the jacuzzi had 6 places 12 of which were taken by, to say the least, chubby, russians. We stayed 3 days in the hotel and the jacuzzi was 200% packed at all times of the day. And again, the bad service came to life at the swimming pool where the pool guard decided to make comment when she told me i was being too noisy when talking to my wife, she, of course, told me that in some sign language considering the fact that she couldn't speak english or french.||I know I'm a bit repetitive when it comes to the service but I cannot stress how useless they really are. The laundry service does not speak a word of english, in addition to that they are lazy. They did not clean our room for 2 days so we had to call the receptionist who was impolite again and seemed offended when i asked them to clean the rooms to the point where she HUNG UP ON ME before i could to tell her the room numbers.||The hotel advertises a few lies. The "temperature control system" is merely a heater which you cannot turn off hence making the room unbearably hot during a normal day or night. When opening the window to get air during the night you will hear the noise from the street which is impossible to sleep with. The wifi advertised is not available in the rooms, only in the lobby where it is still too slow to do any kind of work or entertainment.||The fitness room that i happened to try was more of just an empty room with a mirror considering that there were no weights and only 1 functioning machine (a bicycle) the other 3 were broken.| |The hotel is not in proximity of the city centre... around half an hour walk. ||In conclusion the hotel is certainly not a four star but more of a 2 star. Loveling surprise! Perfect hotel for families, clean, helpful and attentive staff who speak good English, German as well as Czech. We spent a beautiful weekend in Marianske Lazne. Ensana hotel Butterfly was a great surprise, competitive price, All Inclusive offer: breakfast, lunches, dinners, snacks, wine and draft beer included in the price. Children up to 4 years stay for free. We booked it on hotel website. Simple rooms, large enough. We used all the facilities of the hotel: free entrance to the swimming pool with hydro massage, Jacuzzi and Finnish sauna. On the 7th floor my husband also used the gym and my son played at the miniclub… all included in the price… while I took advantage of it for a classic regenerating massage booked in the morning for the afternoon! We had one dinner on the terrace. It was beautiful because we could enjoy the sunset and a special vip treatment. We parked our car in the underground garage with a special car lift. It is not very wide and it is recommended only for mid size and small cars. In any case, the receptionists give all the alternatives for parking, even some free ones, a short distance away. In front of the hotel there is also a nice playground in the park with a stream and a beautiful promenade with many springs of mineral water to drink, including the Ferdinand spa which can also be enjoyed directly at the hotel. Забудьте всё, что вы знали о четырёхзвёздочных гостиницах!||||Побывав в гостинице Баттерфляй сети Донабиус в Марианских Лазнях, вы непременно откроете для себя новый дивный мир гостиничного сервиса и высоких стандартов, которые не перестанут удивлять вас с первого до последнего дня пребывания в гостинице.||||Итак, всё по-порядку. ||||Впервые открыв дверь вашего номера, особенно поздним вечером после длительного перелёта и долгой дороги за рулём, вы будете приятно поражены размерами номера. Номер просторный и довольно приятный. К сожалению, (вы обнаружите это в скором времени) это единственное достоинство данного заведения. ||||Далее, распаковав чемоданы, в предкушении тёплого душа, вы начинаете искать такие привычные для отелей заявленного уровня одноразовые тапочки. Не трудитесь, ваши поиски будут тщётны. Они вам не полагаются, а потому их и нет. Ну что же, не в тапках счастье, думаете вы, и направляетесь к большому столу-буфету в надежде насладиться чашкой ароматного чая, мысленно делая выбор, какой чай вам придётся по вкусу - ерл грей, зеленый или фруктовый. Но - о, ужас! - после тщательного осмотра всех закутков вашего огромного номера вы с ужасом осознаёте, что ни чая, ни чайника вам не найти и что вас так вероломно лишили вашей последней, но такой привычной и элементарной радости, связанной, кстати, с элеменарным гостеприимством (ведь вы гость в ГОСТинице), а чашка чая - совсем не роскошь. ||||В душе вас ждёт приятная неожиданность. Вас накрывает волна носталгии по тем временам, когда вы ещё были молоды и искали гостиницы подешевле, а не покомфортней. Происходит это, когда вместо скучного набора из маленьких бутылочек с гелем, шампунем, кондиционером и всякой косметикой вы обнаруживаете, что всё это можно уместить в одну увесистую бутылку, намертво прекреплённую к нижней части ванны (так руководство гостиницы заботится о вашей физической форме: нагнись и отожми).||||Ну что ж, утро вечера мудреней. Утром на завтраке вам дадут убедиться в мудрости старой русской поговорки "кто рано встаёт, тому бог даёт". И не только! Вас ждут новые открытия высоких стандартов местного сервиса. Опытным взглядом путешественника вы обнаружите, что большие тарелки за завтраком уже не в моде и чтобы съесть необходимый набор белков, жиров и углеводов вам необходимы навыки официанта в балансировании с несколькими тарелками одновременно. Тарелки и приборы заслуживают отдельного упоминания. Вся посуда в гостинице несомненно имеет историческую ценность. На это указывают многочисленные царапины на вилках и ножах а также несмываемые графические рисунки на белых трелках, оставленные усердной работой этими самыми вилками и ножами предудущими поколениями гостей.||||Да, и не говорите что я вас не предупреждал: в воскресенье столовая (не поворачиваеться язык назвать это место потребления пищи рестораном) открыта, как и в будни, до 10:00. Не повторяйте мои ошибки, иначе с утра останетесь голодными!||||Предупреждаю также, что пользоваться бассейном и джакузи можно только если у вас стойкий иммунитет на хлорку, которой пропитан воздух СПА-центра гостиницы.||||И еще про еду в гостинице. Ровно одного обеда нам хватило, чтобы понять, что все остальные мы будем есть вне гостиницы, хотя у нас оплачен полупансион.||||Мы не первый раз отдыхаем в Марианских Лазнях и очень любим это место. У нас также был оплачен пакет из 24 процедур, но в отличие от других гостиниц, где можно получить нормальные процедуры, моей жене дали только два массажа и только одну ванну.||Остальное за дополнительную плату.||||Отдавая дань справедливости отмечу, что после серьёзного разговора с менежером отеля условия нашего пребывания немного улучшились: в номере появились тапочки и электрический чайник, правда, без чая и сахара, а в пакет процедур жены добавилось три ванны.||||Вообщем, спешите открывать для себя новые высоты велнес-отдыха в гостинице Баттерфляй, а с...
