Old School Café — Restaurant in Cheb District

We found this cafe down a side street and were happy with our luck. The cafe owners were a cool couple who made us and our two dogs feel very welcome - even offering snacks to our four-legged companions. The food is simple and tasty with a cool selection of fillings in the toasties offering, and yummy cakes to follow. The decor is stylish, the walls are covered with interesting framed photos, some of which are for sale, and the WC is equally stylish and spotlessly clean. For our second visit we were there when the cafe opened at 11:00 (Sunday) and when we left the owners asked if we would be back later, unfortunately we couldn't as we were returning home. Very cool little rock and motorcycle-style café with owners that visibly put their hearts into running the place.

You can immediately feel the welcoming and warm atmosphere, and the home-made coffee and cakes absolutely do not disappoint. I actually foolishly asked if the cream is hand-made and guess what - it is, from the owner's cow milk. D'oh!

I gotta give them another visit next time I'm passing through Mariánské Lázně on...

Perfect spot with very friendly atmoshpere and delitious coffee, home made cakes of all kinds (including low carb and no added sugar), and to our surprise, amazing alcohol-free gin shakes which were tuned according our wish, one bitter and the other sour.
