Budova hotela je opravdu krásna – recepce, chodby, kavárna, restaurace. Měli jsme pokoj Komfort – A 1/2 rodinný – dva pěkné pokoje, malá koupelnička – záchod, sprchový kout, malé umyvadélko a ano velké zrcadlo a fén. Co mě ale zklamalo a ve 4* hotelu bych to opravdu nečekala byla díra od kliky vstupních dveří v koupelnových dveřích, díra od kliky vstupních dveří do stěny a praskliny ve zdi kolem vstupních dveří. V koupelně plíseň v těsnění kolem umyvadélka. Ano, chápu že se to může stát, ale za ty peníze by se to mělo opravit ze dne na den. Asi jsme měli smůlu, že jsme Češi. Němce by si do takového pokoje nedovolili ubytovat. Velký problém je parkování u hotelu. Pokud se zaplní parkovací místa před hotelem a za hotelem posílají vás parkovat až na vlakové nádraží. Je však podivující, že když jdete z večerní procházky kolem 23:00 hod. vidíte před hotelem neobsazená parkovací místa, ale na recepci tvrdí, že tam opravdu volné místo nemají. Nicméně kuchyně byla výborná, výběr jídla a pití velký. Sednout si můžete v restauraci anebo na terase. Pokud ale není příznivé počasí, je těžké najít volný stůl v restauraci a povolí vzít si jídlo do kavárny. Ale probíhají tam stavební práce, takže předpokládám, že restauraci budou rozšiřovat. Připravte se na fronty u kávovaru. Mají tam sice dva, ale jen z jednoho je opravdu dobrá káva. Snídaně je od 7:00 do 10:00, večeře je rozdělena na dvě skupiny od 17:00 – 18:30 a od 19:00 – 20:30. Pokud si chcete ještě něco vzít po 18:30 máte smůlu, nemůžete si připravit už ani kafe. Restaurace se zavře a připravuje se na další skupinu. Ale to samozřejmě chápu. Dále moc oceňuji neomezený vstup do Aquafora a lehátka na Sluneční louce. Pokud si však lehátko nechytnete včas, nemáte již šanci si něco najít. V 10:00 připraví na Sluneční louce malé občerstvení – vodu a meloun a k dispozici jsou opalovací krémy. Zde bych doporučila víc lehátek a alespoň jedou doplnit občerstvení – kolem 12:00 už nic není. Sluneční louka je však krásna – je tam terasa z kavárny, fontánka, bylinková a zeleninová zahrádka, chodník pro bosé nohy, venkovní šachy. Pro sportovní vyžití pingpongový stůl, plážový volejbal, badminton a různé míče. Děti si tam dokonce postavily i hrad z písku. Do Aquafora můžete od 7:00 na kondiční plavání a pak se dle libosti čvachtat až do 21:00. Dále oceňuji výběr procedur – užila jsem si je, sestřičky byly příjemné. Bylo by fajn, kdyby partneři/manželé dostali volně dostupné procedury v podobný čas a nemuseli na sebe čekat celé dopoledne. Hotel připravuje i různé akce – prohlídky, večery s hudbou apod. To jsme nevyužili tak nehodnotím. Celkový pobyt byl úžasný, ale dojem mi bohužel zkazil ten pokoj. Doufám, že se do Františkových lázní ještě vrátíme, ale určitě zkusíme jiný hotel.

Nice hotel, but I expected more, considering it's a 4 stars hotel... The food is good, but if you stay more than one week it's a lot the same. Big advantage is direct connection with the Aquaforum and Císařské lázně, the staff is nice and helpful, the location next to the park and near the city center is convenient and calm. The rooms are comfortable, but as we paid for a superior room I expected it to be bigger and better equipped, the shower is too small, rooms not well soundproofed. The spa treatment is a bit disappointing, some procedures are too short (15 minutes for massages or physiotherapy make almost no effect). But overall the stay here is relaxing and enjoyable.

Hotel Pawlik je pěkný. Pokoje už bohužel nejsou moc v kondici. Nejsou moc uklizené, obložení kolem postele prach. Na lampičkách prach. Obklady a zrcadla v koupelně nevyleštěné. Za ty peníze 💸 docela průser. Výhodou je, že nemusíte nikam ven a jídelna je v budově. Snídaně je pořád stejné. Vajíčka, párky, klobásky, slanina, palačinky, mění se pouze kaše. Samozřejmostí jsou džemy, nutela, a ovoce. Jinak je k dispozici zelenina, studená kuchyně - sýry, salámy, lučina, tvarohy K pití různé čaje, kafe, mlíko, malinovky i čokoláda. Počas jídla si můžete dát i víno 🍷 pivo 🍻 Oběd je teplý i studený bufet + polívka. Na zakončení jídla je připravena sladká tečka. Večeře jsou studené i teplé. Jídlo je skvěle navařeno. Bazén je k dispozici pro hotelové hosty od 7 hod.. Hygiena šaten, nic moc. V kabinkách poletují kusy prachu. Lázeňská klinika je pěkná. Zarazilo mně použití parafínu. Po proceduře ho sloupnete do bílé misky. Obsluha ho pak roztopí a znovu použije pro další klienty.😐 Císařské lázně jsou zajímavé. Po procedurách je ale docela zima v odpočivárnach. V lednu chodí z lázní dost lidí nastydlých. Můžete využít i výlety. Za 440 korun jsme byli na výletě do Slavkovského Lesa, na hrad Kynžvart a do Mariánských Lázní. Bylo nás v autobuse 17. Všechno jsme viděli pouze z autobusu. Hrad byl uzavřen v lese sme se prošli pár metrů a plánovaná návštěva kostelíka se málem nekonala. Bylo zamčeno a pan průvodce nechtěl ani zavolat na uvedené číslo pro otevření. Nakonec jsem tam zavolala sama . Výlety nedoporučuji málo muziky za hodně peněz. Kdybych to věděla, nejela bych nikam. V pátek a sobotu jsou taneční večery. Hudba skvělá, obsluha mimo mísu. Holky absolutně nevědí co, komu nesou a vše trvá dlouho. Čekali jsme půl hodiny na pití a slečna donesla až po druhé urgenci. Shrnutí pobytu v hotelu Pawlik Aqaforum Františkovy Lázně? Pokoje předražené, jídlo dobré, ale snídaně pořád stejné. Procedury jsou v pořádku. Zaměřila bych se na čistotu, teplejší odpočívárny a cenu výletů. Za tu cenu sem čekala mnohem víc...

Nice hotel, but I expected more, considering it's a 4 stars hotel... The food is good, but if you stay more than one week it's a lot the same. Imagine when you fly on an airplane for a long time, a conversation with your nearest neighbors is started, voluntarily or involuntarily: about the trip, the weather, and other events of little significance. And, sometimes some people are frank, realizing that this person will never meet again in their lives. So, it happened this time.|| Across from me sat a rather pleasant woman with beautiful eyes and an intelligent look. She stared straight ahead into the distance, oblivious to the fuss that usually reigns in the cabin when boarding.||Watching an interesting-traveling companion, it seemed that something was disturbing and did not allow her to distract from obsessive thoughts. But pride and emotional tension do not permit sharing, throwing out anxiety, doubts, and fears. Usually, I try not to get into people's souls, not to distract them from their thoughts. But suddenly, I thought that there are times when it is simply necessary to pour out your soul to someone. And it's much easier for a stranger to do this than for a loved one. A stranger who does not care about you at all, and you are independent of him, will look at your situation with totally different eyes, sympathize, support, and give unexpectedly accurate advice or recommendation that will help solve the problem. That's what Marina told me a result of taking one therapeutic drug cost her issues with her joints. In 2020, during her trip to Hungary to the emergency department, a doctor reported that a hip replacement surgery was required after an ultrasound procedure. That was the reason to come to Karlovy Vary, a famous wellness place in Europe for the treatment of joints.|| In February 2022, she decided to book a place at the Richmond Sanatorium from June 4 to June 26. Marina planned her trip and bought a plane ticket in advance. Unfortunately, Lufthansa has postponed the departure and arrival days from June 4 to June 7. She had to turn to Sanatoriums.com and reschedule her reservation to Richmond four days later, from June 4 to June 8, for the same period to stay there for 21 days. According to her booking, the price for 21 days was 1700 euros. A few days later, the answer came: it was not possible to make corrections for four days of stay, and the patient must cancel the reservation.|| The lady contacted Richmond, but there were no places in single rooms. She had to go to the Spa Resort PAWLIK-AQUAFORUM in Frantiskovy Lazne, a sanatorium where a new reservation cost about $ 2,400.|| After a fifteen-hour flight, the tired Marina finally arrived at Pawlik. When Marina entered her room, it was a strange and unpleasant smell. She contacted reception with a request to change this room to a room with a balcony so that she could breathe fresh air. Also, she noticed that there were two narrow beds instead of one.|| Marina took a shower while noticing that the bathroom floor was unpleasantly sticky. As she has a problem with bright light caused by cataracts, the woman went to bed in the semi-darkness without turning on the lighting in the bedroom. Unfortunately, the lady couldn't sleep for a long time and decided to take a walk, walking around the building several times. Every time she passed through the reception desk, she felt awkward, and to apologize, she treated the guy to a chocolate bar.|| Waking up in the morning, Marina pulled back the curtains and found that the bed was dirty, the linen was stale, pillows and sheets with gray spots, and the floor in the toilet and bathroom was also dirty. The front desk clerk said the woman should talk to the Pawlik manager about this issue. The lady was shocked by such terrible service, especially since we have been living during COVID-19, which took away fifteen million people in the planet. || After a conversation with the manager, it became clear that he did not even think to apologize for such low-quality service. His version was that the patient was to blame herself. Instead of apologizing, he said that she had deliberately created this situation, and she had stained the cotton fabric with some oils. As a result of such blatant treatment and boorish attitude, Marina could not and did not want to stay in Pawlik Aquaforum anymore.|| As a result, she made a new order from June 9 to 29 at Bristol Palace and moved to Karlovy Vary, where she was satisfied with comfort and treatment. Marina liked being there, her joints stopped bothering her, and it became much easier to move. Moreover, the accommodation service during the trip from Miami to Karlovy Vary was provided, taking into account the poor condition of her joints. And, now she needs help getting her money back on a credit card because it was impossible to stay in the Pavlik sanatorium.|| After listening to such a confession, I realized that no one would want to experience such ignorant treatment. Also, if you decide to go to the Czech Republic for treatment, be careful, and avoid this sanatorium. Remember its full name is Pawlik Aquaforum in Frantiskovy Lazne, Czech Republic. But suddenly, I thought that there are times when it is simply necessary to pour out your soul to someone. And it's much easier for a stranger to do this than for a loved one. A stranger who does not care about you at all, and you are independent of him, will look at your situation with totally different eyes, sympathize, support, and give unexpectedly accurate advice or recommendation that will help solve the problem. That's what Marina told me a result of taking one therapeutic drug cost her issues with her joints. In 2020, during her trip to Hungary to the emergency department, a doctor reported that a hip replacement surgery was required after an ultrasound procedure. That was the reason to come to Karlovy Vary, a famous wellness place in Europe for the treatment of joints.|| In February 2022, she decided to book a place at the Richmond Sanatorium from June 4 to June 26. Marina planned her trip and bought a plane ticket in advance. Unfortunately, Lufthansa has postponed the departure and arrival days from June 4 to June 7. She had to turn to Sanatoriums.com and reschedule her reservation to Richmond four days later, from June 4 to June 8, for the same period to stay there for 21 days. According to her booking, the price for 21 days was 1700 euros. A few days later, the answer came: it was not possible to make corrections for four days of stay, and the patient must cancel the reservation.|| The lady contacted Richmond, but there were no places in single rooms. She had to go to the Spa Resort PAWLIK-AQUAFORUM in Frantiskovy Lazne, a sanatorium where a new reservation cost about $ 2,400.|| After a fifteen-hour flight, the tired Marina finally arrived at Pawlik. When Marina entered her room, it was a strange and unpleasant smell. She contacted reception with a request to change this room to a room with a balcony so that she could breathe fresh air. Also, she noticed that there were two narrow beds instead of one.|| Marina took a shower while noticing that the bathroom floor was unpleasantly sticky. As she has a problem with bright light caused by cataracts, the woman went to bed in the semi-darkness without turning on the lighting in the bedroom. Unfortunately, the lady couldn't sleep for a long time and decided to take a walk, walking around the building several times. Every time she passed through the reception desk, she felt awkward, and to apologize, she treated the guy to a chocolate bar.|| Waking up in the morning, Marina pulled back the curtains and found that the bed was dirty, the linen was stale, pillows and sheets with gray spots, and the floor in the toilet and bathroom was also dirty. The front desk clerk said the woman should talk to the Pawlik manager about this issue. The lady was shocked by such terrible service, especially since we have been living during COVID-19, which took away fifteen million people in the planet. || After a conversation with the manager, it became clear that he did not even think to apologize for such low-quality service. His version was that the patient was to blame herself. Instead of apologizing, he said that she had deliberately created this situation, and she had stained the cotton fabric with some oils. As a result of such blatant treatment and boorish attitude, Marina could not and did not want to stay in Pawlik Aquaforum anymore.|| As a result, she made a new order from June 9 to 29 at Bristol Palace and moved to Karlovy Vary, where she was satisfied with comfort and treatment. Marina liked being there, her joints stopped bothering her, and it became much easier to move. Moreover, the accommodation service during the trip from Miami to Karlovy Vary was provided, taking into account the poor condition of her joints. And, now she needs help getting her money back on a credit card because it was impossible to stay in the Pavlik sanatorium.|| After listening to such a confession, I realized that no one would want to experience such ignorant treatment. It's a beautiful newly renovated hotel with kid's facilities - play room, separate dining area for families, swimming pool, small kid's playground. It's located in a beautiful place-next to a park. Pros - the hotel itself, location, kid's facilities, swimming pool and kind people doing treatments, also some reception staff speaks English. An Asian looking girl from spa reception was super helpful in every aspect, kind and resolved any issues in a friendly manner. She is the one who made our stay. Also, Thai classical massage was amazing.

Cons- If you are not Czech or German, it's really hard to get around. All signs are in these languages(same with a list of treatments and pricing). This makes a few days very stressful as no explanation is given at the start. You can be given a treatment in the city centre without letting you know it's out of the hotel and how to get there. Or you can be given information about mineral waters in only two available languages and offered to translate yourself , 'because they only have a few English speaking customers in a year'. Is it hard to translate two pages to other languages even for those few customers?

You are not given any important information unless you ask for it (e.g. how to drink mineral water or how to book other extra treatments), otherwise, no one mentions it at all.

badly trained nurse who meets people at the start-not friendly or smily but speaks in a rude manner and sharply. She doesn't give you proper explanations, and when you come back to clarify, she gets annoyed and speaks sharply, which is weird. Absolutely awful customer service. Everything that is considered to be her job feels like she is doing a favour. This attitude had some other people from spa reception.

-you can't buy extra treatments if you want-for example, I wanted to buy 10 cryotherapy but couldn't as it's only at 9 am and interfered with my other treatments. Also some treatments considered to be 'main treatments, therefore you can't have two main treatments in a day. So I couldn't buy many extra treatments like underwater massage.

-massages on the package were more for fun than real-you need to book massages and pay for them separately if you want a proper treatment.

there should be separate slots for families with kids in salt cave, because many people come there to sleep and there is no chance a kid can stay completely silent for 45 mins. Otherwise, you are constantly told off your kid behaves like a normal self(not even running around but calmly talking to you).

our booking was messed up. We book a 30 sq.m room for 3 people and we were given a small room for 2 . They somehow lost 1 person in a booking, gave us different,much smaller room and billed us a different price(much higher to what we booked). Was sorted by giving us a family room and with showing details of our booking but gave us unpleasant feeling from the start.

In total, a nice hotel with a good concept but needs good staff training and organise thing around in a better way to make everyone included and to feel comfortable. Otherwise, what's the point in advertising it on...
