Hotel Dvorana — Hotel in okres Karlovy Vary

We bought a trip to Karlovy Vary as a couple with my girlfriend. The hotel isn't located in the centre of the city, but still provides well-placed "base of operation" for your possible trips to the city or surroundings. Private Parking before the hotel helps.||The staff was very kind, polite and helpful. Welness was provided as expected, if this isn't your main goal but rather a welcome addition, which was the case for us, it's perfectly fine. Unfotunately there is no swimming pool (not that anyone declared there would be one). The private cinema was a blast. We had the entire place for us, could chose a movie from a reasonable selection, very cool way to spent 2h in the evening. ||Rooms and the hotel overall are clean, there are calmer spots for you to spent some relaxing moments (even a small library, computer should you need one, etc.), equipment is pretty good, wi-fi in most areas of the hotel. ||We also loved the restaurant and meals given to us, some of the appetizers were somewhat weird (I mean... I do not like salads), but every main meal was really tasty and never left the restaurant dissapointed. Breakfast - solid selection, self-service, for me that format worked fairly well. ||Overall wonderful experience, it's just not the kind of hotel where you enter the building on Monday and don't leave for a week, as there wouldn't be enough wellness activities to fill all...

We went to Karlsbad for snowboarding at Klinovec which is just 20 minutes far away by car. Hotel Dvorana is a very nice and cosy hotel with a great atmosphere because you feel like a princess there and the staff treats you as you were royal. The carpets, furniture, the restaurant and even the cinema looks lordly. The sauna which you book separately is very stylish and modern, i. e. there are heated deck chairs. They prepare water with fresh oranges and lemons and the towels for you. Great service.||But the very best feature is the private cinema with high quality sound and comfortable chairs. We loved it. Either you watch your own movies or you chose from one of theirs. ||The food in the restaurant is very tasty due to its quality. The waiters are competent and friendly. They make everything possible for you. Unbelievable service-oriented. I wish there are more waiters like them working in restaurants. Best service ever!||The staff of the reception is supportive and also try to make your wishes come true. Most of them have great English skills. So it is not a problem to communicate with each other. We had a minor problem in our room and they fixed it immediately. They have always a smile on their lips and obviously enjoy their job. My favorite was Andrea. Wir haben mittlerweile zum vierten Mal das Hotel besucht und nun - 2 Jahre nach der ersten Bewertung - ist es Zeit für ein Update, obwohl es dieses fast gar nicht benötigte.||||Das Hotel ...||||... ist ein elegantes, kleines, charmantes und relativ neues Hotel. Die Räumlichkeiten||sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es strahlt Luxus, Behaglichkeit und Wärme aus.||||Die Zimmer ...||||... sind relativ groß mit super bequemen Betten, Klimanlage, Minibar, wunderbaren Bädern - besonders die mit den grandiosen Duschen - und vor allem sehr sauber.||||Das Personal ...||||... stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Egal ob man Busfahrkarten, Infos für die Stadt, Massagen oder sonst etwas braucht - immer wird einem schnell und problemlos geholfen. Man spricht neben der Muttersprache Tschechich auch Englisch und||manche können sogar Deutsch.||||Das Restaurant ...||||... bietet italienisch angehauchte Küche zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität und bietet bis 23:00 Uhr seine Dienste an. Damit kann man an der Bar auch noch einen trinken, wenn man abends von einem Stadtausflug zurück kommt.||Allerdings sind die Speisen in den letzten beiden Jahren etwas teurer geworden, doch immer noch preiswert. Und schließlich sind die Lebensmittel ja auch nicht gerade billiger in Tschechien geworden.||||Das Frühstück ...||||... ist nach wievor ein wenig der Schwachpunkt. Allerdings ist das Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Es gibt alles was man braucht. Die Brötchen könnten vielleicht frischer sein, obwohl es zuletzt mehr Brotsorten gab. Es gibt immer noch Luft nach oben.||||Das Besondere...||||... in diesem Hotel bietet der tolle Clubraum, den man als Hotelgast kostenlos nutzen kann - mit Billard, Pokertischen, Dart, Bar etc. Und für uns grandios: das Kino mit||superbequemen Sitzen und der Möglichkeit eigene DVDs oder Blu-Rays auf der großen Leinwand gegen einen Aufpreis schauen zu können.||||Was es sonst noch zu sagen gibt ...||||W-Lan und Parkplätze sind kostenlos und damit Top! Und wem es zu weit weg vom Stadtzentrum ist: Bei der Rezeption bekommt man Bus-Tickets. Die Haltestelle ist||ca. 200 Meter vom Hotel weg und eine Karte kostet ca 66 Cent. Man ist in 10-13 Minuten in der Stadt. Preiswert und schnell.||||Fazit...||||... das Hotel ist etwas Besonderes, was wir so auf unseren Reisen noch nirgendwo anders gefunden haben. Und wir kommen bald schon wieder - zum dann fünften Mal in zwei Jahren, denn das "Dvorana" ist in der Tat unser...
