Hotel Corrado — Hotel in okres Ostrava-město

Not a big hotel, not th efines one, but somhow special. It started with the booking proccess, which was very nice managed, very quick and the lady was really helpful. Very positive experience. It was not hard to find the building, but you need to llok it up in advance, to come from the right side. Entering the building we were a bit confused. There is no reception od front desk. You need to search for a person. Never mind, everybody is nice and helpful there. I counted only 7 rooms, rather small, but nice and clean. I never saw such a tiny bathroom, all squeezed in, but very clean. They cleaned the room every day. A small fridge in the room is a positive point. So, breakfast came! I read about it being special in advanec, so it was! Yes, superb. But we also had a dinner there in teh restaurant, which was perfect. It is worth going there for the meal offer. On the other hand, the hotel is old, smells of being old and smoked, they try to cover it by smelly stuff plugged in, but that makes it even worse. Unfortunately, it also seems dark and shabby, not enough lights in the room, so you cannot even read in teh evening.||Parking in the hotel area is + and also teh activity offer is interesting. Hotel is made in old living house, what it is visible on every step. There is a lot of old miscellaneous stuff placed around, which not necessarily fit each other... sometimes could give an impression of garbage from attic. ||||The quality of the rooms is rather low, but at least they are clean. Bathroom was so small that it was hard to move around, but it was also clean. ||||Home-made breakfast was served individually (no buffet) so there wasn't too many things to choose. Unfortunately cookies served to coffee have been 6 months after their expiry date. From the pictures, it looked interesting, so thought we would give it a try. Car park is ok as long as you watch where your stepping. Your greeted with a splendid collection of motorbikes and stuffed animals in the entrance. No main desk / reception, just a bar. The room was just bearable but the bathroom is literally 1m2. if you love japan mini style. This is the place. however having your head in the sink, when sitting on the toilet is not good.
