Very nice French restaurant near Stodolni. The decor was nice, though maybe a little dated. French music was playing the whole time to contribute to the nice atmosphere. Friendly, English-speaking staff. Fantastic food. Not too pricey for this quality. I had onion soup (my only remark is that is should be more thick, but the taste was great) and galette (savoury pancake) with chicken, pineapple and curry sauce. It was delicious. I severely underestimated the portion sizes and couldn't finish my galette, which was a bummer. They did offer to pack it for me but, being a hotel guest, I would have nowhere to heat it up. Alas! Stylish & welcoming from the outside, while not so “tranquille” inside - the cafe was totally packed during Wednesday afternoon, with only a few tiny tables available. It was so loud inside that we left nearly having headache, not sure why everyone there was speaking at a high pitch. Unfortunately it seems COVID has taken its toll. The menu has 1/3 of the choices it used to, the steak secrton does not even include beef. My son found a long black hair in his salad, my wife reported to the waitress who did not seem to concerned, never apologised, and said no more of the matter after taking it to the kitchen for disposal.
