My experience at Eislerova Kolej - VŠE has been nothing short of a horror story. Bedbugs infest every inch of this place, and despite five futile attempts at extermination, it's clear that the management couldn't be bothered to handle the issue competently.
The so-called "managers" are devoid of any compassion. When my roommates and I requested a refund or even just a temporary stay in a hotel due to the persistent bedbug problem, they callously turned a deaf ear. It's mind-boggling how they can be so indifferent to the suffering of their residents.
The state of the dormitory is beyond appalling. We pleaded for new mattresses, as the existing ones were stained with blood and urine. Shockingly, our pleas fell on deaf ears once again. How can anyone be expected to live in such squalor?
As exchange students, our time in Prague was meant to be a memorable semester filled with new experiences. Instead, Eislerova Kolej turned it into a never-ending nightmare. What's infuriating is that they have the audacity to blame us for the deplorable conditions. It's an insult to our intelligence to suggest that the unit was anything but a filthy disaster from the start.
I've never loathed a place as much as I do Eislerova Kolej - VŠE. If you have an ounce of self-respect or dignity, steer clear of this hellhole. This review serves as a fervent warning to anyone considering subjecting themselves to the misery that awaits within...
Read morethere was an issue while moving out, I'm not gonna lie dorms management wanted to basically extort more money for nothing, changing the policy of moving out like overnight if you needed to stay in your room after check from a cleaning lady (because you have a flight on 10pm for example), which only can be done 8-14hrs, you would have to pay 1000CZK basically and if you moved out before this sudden change, you didn't have to pay for it only after intervention they decided to change it back at least for Erasmus students for now kind of a joke to begin with after all and plus you need to pay for your whole stay UPFRONT and they do not refund you if you leave before your contract ends just so you know I liked living here but after all this mess with paying for checkout I have bitter feelings, that's why...
