We booked through Teletext holidays as a package deal including flights so we weren’t given many options with where to stay within our budget. We stayed 4 nights, upon arriving to the hotel, we weren’t very welcomed by the reception staff, (I don’t think Prague as a whole is big on customer service...). We got to our floor and the hallway lights weren’t on, so trying to open the door in the dark wasn’t fun. First impressions of our room, interior was very old fashioned and basic. Main concern of the whole stay was the fact they didn’t have air con or even fans to give to people for their rooms, so it was boiling hot, especially as it was July season nights, therefore wasn’t very comfortable. Beds were hard and didn’t provide double beds, just 2 single beds pushed together.||||WiFi didn’t have great connection and only one plug in room to use and non existent plugs in reception area, which isn’t great in terms of emergencies. Breakfast was pretty poor, the food didn’t taste edible. ||||Came back to hotel late one of the nights we stayed and asked for tap water for our room, expecting water to be free, was charged. Vending machines didn’t work properly, so a bottle of water we decided to pay for without being ripped off at the bar with got stuck; this was at a point when a group of over 30 people came to check in, so didn’t want to wait behind the crowd to ask for help as it was around 11:30 at night and we were tired and wanted to just get up to our room to bed. ||||Have to highlight the positives as well of course and say that the hotel is very close to a metro, so that was ideal. A select couple of receptionists we dealt with were helpful and seemed polite and we also appreciated the fact that we could leave our luggage at the hotel free of charge on the last day so we could go out and make the most of it. ||||If you’re looking for a very basic stay then it’s okay, if you’re wanting anything more than that, then...
Read moreMyself and a big group of around 40/45 stayed here in July of last year and overall it was a average stay with pros and cons. When we first arrived, which was about midday so I couldn’t comment on those leaving arriving late at night, we were able to all put our belongings (suitcases and instruments) into a large room which was helpful to then keep the amount of people/stuff in the lobby at a minimum whilst we checked in. However a criticism to start off with was the fact that the hotel staff/ reception would not look after our keys behind the desk during the day whilst we were out. I am not sure on whether this was because we were such a large group or whether it was a hotel policy, but for a group of 13-17 year olds this wasn’t ideal. ||However the rooms were just as you’d expect them to be for a 3* hotel really. Our room was very clean with plenty of storage for our clothes (there was 4 of us in our room) and a en-suite style bathroom. The room staff were always pleasant in passing. Could definitely do with a bit of renovation, quite old fashioned but an extremely comfortable bed!! ||The food however was not good at all. We had all our meals provided (half board, so breakfast and lunch or tea) and it was not good at all. I often bought food through the day when we were out, a plus being that just across the road a 1-2 min walk there was a Lidl, Macdonalds and M&S food hall! ||WiFi was generally good. Reached all parts of the hotel at most times except from one night where it didn’t work anywhere for a good few hours, not sure what that was...

It was job trip so our partners booked the room for us on 20 October 2017 ||We arrived on 19 October 2017 at night, so we found IIF Hotel at 2.00 a.m. on 20 October. ||The first the night door was close and no one didn't open it. We were waiting on in front of hotel in a few minutes after that the door opened. ||||The second hostess was sleepy and didn't happy to see us. We tried to explain our situation that our room booked on 20 October, but we arrived at night on 20 October and want to check in beforehand (extra night). Hostess didn't want to do it and offer us to booked new room for 3500 CZ but it was to much for us and we tried to discuss her offer. She didn't change her offer and told us that it is finally offer for you... ||Me and my colleagues should have thought out that offer and we have set on a sofa in lobby in few minutes hostess told us that we wouldn't try to sleep in lobby.. "What a f..?!" - We have thought ||During in half on hour we decided to take one room for one person because it was cheaper than one room for third people, when hostess heard our decision she didn't want to sell as the room for one person telling that - You are third!, but my colleague was so exhausted that reply she "If I gonna to invite prostitute I need to registered all of my guest?!" after this the hostess didn't tell us any words and we went to the room..||||The next day we changed the room but our...
