Mixed experience depending on who serves you. It can be either fantastic or miserable. Service matters!

First visit: Nice place, but the waiter refused to serve a final drink (a shot) half an hour before closing time, seemingly taking great pleasure in denying it without reason ("my colleague already asked earlier if you want another drink, so no"). Typical old-school Czech behaviour like this, unfortunately persists in this city. It makes no business sense and soured the evening.

On a second visit, we had two waiters. They could not be further apart: The first guy was in a light blue shirt and appeared to be a manager. His attitude was disgraceful and he spoke to us in an unpleasant, sarcastic tone. He does not deserve a job. The second guy was extremely pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable - a true professional. I personally love this place, I always come here when I want some typical and amazing Czech food. I love the kulajda soup and everything I have ever ordered here was delicious, the food tastes home made from good quality products. The quality of the beer is also good. The staff is average I believe, when there are too little people you can see their annoyed faces, when there is too many you can see they have hard time coping. We like to come here after our volleyball training for a couple of beers and something small to munch on. Their soups are substantial but unfortunately we are missing veggie options, since all their soups come with some meat in/on it eventhough you specifically ask for veggetarian option. Their beer is tasty. The place gets very packed on Wednesdays when we come there so it is noisy. Therefore the staff tends to be nervous and not very attentive/available.
