If you want value for your $ - look somewhere else. First of all our room was not cleaned for three nights. After first night I got curious if they are going to it if we not tell them and I waited since we stayed only for three nights in total. Nothing happened. Breakfast choice is poor, almost no vegetables and little to none fruits. The ones they had were dull and tasteless. Safe in our room didn’t work and they didn’t fix it when asked. There were no updates on whether it is something they can fix (what I would understand) but absence of communication IS bad service. Shower smelled of mold. Maybe common in old danish towns, but I doubt it. Never experienced anywhere else in Scandinavia. When checking out reception asked if I enjoyed the stay and I said straightforward that I didn’t and listed all my complaints. They said «I am so sorry and wrote them down» but nothing was offered to remediate. I could use a free cappuccino to go or maybe a candy for my child? Nothing. Please be more creative, guys! There tons of other hotels with competitive offering in your town. What was good is the room size (we stayed in a suite) and location. Furniture was new and overall staff was friendly (in a danish way: nobody said hello or how is your day, but they helped when asked) Attaching photo of the street hotel is located on and view from our room.

One of the best hotels in Esbjerg. You will not miss anything here! The comfort, hospitality and professionalism are the main characteristics of Britannia. The hotel also has a very stylish restaurant with some wonderful food options. The prices are not the cheapest ones but is a very good option for a nice dinner with friends or a romantic night with your loved one.

Good hotel for staying in Esberg. It was a good choice. Breakfast was delicious and also view in the lobby so cozy. We ate a lot and you also can take drinks to your room. Personal was nice and give a good tips where you can go. Location amazing you can go everywhere. Recommend for stay ☺️

Very disappointing experience. Thought it was the top-spot but learned something else. Renovation was on-going with drilling, chipping, workers working by your window etc, not exactly what you expect. There was no warning on the web-page when made the booking, only a small tiny note left opporsite the elevator that 'some noice might occur' which is the understatement of the year. We had noice through-out the day and would never have made the booking if this was known prior arrival. Also the room was a disappointment, We booked a superior room which should give more comfort than a standard room. With one chair for seating in a double-room, where is the 2nd person supposed to sit ?? - there was a build-in bench along the wall, but the seating area was so small that it was basically impossible to sit comfortable. On top there were mouldings on the joints in the bathroom (which was somehow from last century). We asked for cleaning three times, it only happened once - great communication within the hotel..... same was noticed when the elevator broke down, no sign to use the service-elevator for staff untill i asked the question. Response 'yeah, maybe we should put up a note'. Unfortunately my wife got sick and we asked for prolong the stay but everything was booked so no chance, despite the crew knew the state of my wife, they did not even thought about helping for other hotels, just a mere 'no, we are fully booked', so much for a so-called customer-friendly hotel.|It is though not all negative, the service in the brasserie was spot-on, very attentive and helpfull - the ladies deserves credit for...

We had high hopes for this hotel, it being part of the Britannia-chain and all. ||We brought our dog and asked specifically for late check out at 12, instead of 11 am, which a blonde receptionist confirmed with a smile and a "no problem".||During check in, I was not informed about the rules at the hotel, when traveling with a dog. For instance, that they are not allowed to be alone in the room/by themselves alone at any time.||Come day of check out, and an angry receptionist calls me at 11:30, while I'm out for a stroll, saying I must come back immediately because check out was 30 minutes ago, and my dog was spotted alone in her room. When I told her I had cleared and confirmed a later check out with the previous receptionist, AND I was not informed of the rules about pets in the hotel, she said it was not in her system and did not believe it.||Because of this incident I do NOT recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with pets. I do NOT like being called and yelled at, for doing nothing wrong!||Therefore very disappointed with my stay. ||Do better for the next visitors, Britannia Esbjerg!!||PS! Save your money and choose a different hotel. Other nice ones...
