Drowning Louise is a long standing restaurant in downtown Esbjerg. We celebrated a night with 5 of us having a chance to reunite after 2 years separation due to Covid19. The place is very authentic and the location quite clean. The server sat us promptly and was very attentive. We had a translator, but feel that if needed we could have spoken with him in English. The menu was somewhat limited as we expected to have a better choice for a fish item. We did order appetizers and main entrees. The drinks arrived promptly and the wine selection was quite reasonable. Shortly after the appetizers, the main dishes arrived and were prepared excellently. Not worth the...

The cook turned out to be Dutch as well, so he already knew some Dutch beer brands. All in all a perfect experience and...
