India Royale - Restaurant Esbjerg — Restaurant in Esbjerg Municipality

So a little bit by an accident, yesterday evening, I visited India Royale for a dinner. And it was the best twist of fate that could have possibly happened! Without any hesitation, I can say that I have experienced the best service in almost 9 years of living in Denmark! It's a shame that top rating is only 5 starts 😁

I have never been to a place with such great food and amazing energy, brought by people who work there. I've been served by Sam and Zoe. Both of them with fantastic attitude and smiles on their faces. Very easy going and professional in the same time. I got all of the information regarding my gluten intolerance, as well as extra informations over menu (a lot of dishes have their vegan options, it's possible to choose the level of spiciness). Throughout my visit they've been making sure, that I wasn't missing anything, all in a very natural and non intrusive way. It was a real pleasure being there, watching how the whole team works 👌

Such employees are a true terasure 🏆

Ich habe Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt, und es war wirklich sehr lecker und authentisch, genau so, wie man sich indische Küche vorstellt – voller Gewürze und intensiver Aromen 🌶️🍛. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie frisch und gut gewürzt die Gerichte waren. Die Portionen waren großzügig und haben satt gemacht.

Die Dame im Restaurant war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hat mich herzlich willkommen geheißen 😊. Der Service war schnell, das Essen hat nicht lange gedauert und war zudem sehr gut verpackt, was besonders bei Takeout wichtig ist 🍽️👍.

Popped into India Royale in Esbjerg the other evening and was pleasantly surprised. Started off with the prawn pakora, which were lovely nice and crispy, with a good bit of spice, but not too much. For mains, I went with the chicken tikka masala proper tasty, rich and creamy, with tender chunks of chicken. Just the sort of comfort food you want on a chilly evening.

We shared a naan basket too came with plain, garlic, and butter naan. All freshly made and perfect for mopping up the curry.

The place has a warm, inviting feel and the staff were really friendly happy to explain the menu and check in to see if we were enjoying the food.
