Ilios Oceanfront — Hotel in Santo Domingo

Very bad. After arrival the airco was off. The refridgerator was not plugged in. The tv decoder was broken. All the dishes (plates) were covered with water.After switching on all the stuff the appartement was still an oven so hot. The day after we met this booking woman in the Office. Very unpolite no introduce herself talk only about money. I told her about the airconditioning problem was installed in the bedroom while the living room was in the corner of the building and all the day very hot. She told me to turn down the airco otherwise we had to pay extra for the electricity. After two days in this oven we left earlier and bookt a Hotel. Swimming Pool water was dirty green water. Very bad appartment. Nice Chinese restaurant downstairs. A lot of noisy traffic on the...

Regrettably I must say that Ilios is in need of new leadership and higher standards.

The lack of professionalism in their maintenance and upkeep is evident in many ways. Most notably the hesitant to bring in professional staff to solve problems that have been ongoing.

The people here do the best they can but don’t have the training or expertise to resolve the issue with the building.

I am here for a few more months because of work but I encourage other to look elsewhere for proper accommodations.

This could be a very special place and the pictures are fenomenal but unfortunately the management team is not willing to make the necessary investment.

No lo recomiendo para una estadía larga, lo único bueno que puedo destacar es la atención del personal, pero el resto fue horrible, el departamento estaba lleno de cucarachas en especial la cocina, salían hasta del refrigerador, aunque fumigaron no sirvió de nada seguían saliendo, los utensilios de cocina eran deplorables con unas ollas gastadas que no servían, tuvimos que comprar las nuestras,daba asco cocinar en ese lugar, de las cañerías salía un olor putrefacto por la antigüedad del lugar, las lavadoras funcionaban a medias a veces lavaban bien otras veces quedaba todo con agua, y la secadora lo mismo, muchas veces tuvimos que terminar pagando una lavandería afuera de este lugar, te cobran garantía y la luz aparte (carísimo 70 usd x 1 mes ), a veces hay agua caliente otras veces no, la baldosa que recubre la piscina está llena de hongos, no la usamos ningún día porque nos dio mucho asco, en fin una experiencia desagradable en cuanto a higiene, podrían ponerle un poco más dedicación y...
