This place was great when it first opened but now all types of people rent apartments and bring over prostitutes. Children are not allowed in the building yet on weekends they're in the pool doing back flips and playing around. There's no peace and quiet like before. Also, there are people playing their music loudly in the pool area. It's a real shame because it was the perfect place to come work or relax amongst quiet, educated business people. That's what they advertise but it went downhill and although the place is nice, some people that rent apartments are less than desirable. I doubt the building will go back to being the way it was before. It's common in Dominican Republic for things to go downhill and never recover. Hopefully something like what this place used to be is being built or is out there already. I mean, who wants to see old men with three or four prostitutes, nasty people playing their music loudly and kids doing back flips in the pool when it's supposed to be a building for people who are here on business? It's disgusting. The more I write, the more turned off I'm getting by the whole place. Last weekend was a nightmare and all I wanted to do was catch some rays in the pool area and do some work. That was...
Read moreThis was my first—and definitely last—time staying at Lincoln Suites. It is absolutely not worth the money.
I stayed at the property for almost two weeks. During the last week of my stay, there was no hot water in the shower. I reported it to the receptionist multiple times, and each time I was told someone would look into it—but no one ever did.
I also mentioned other issues: the toilet paper holder was broken, and there was a leak coming from the tub area. Again, I was told it would be addressed, but nothing was ever fixed. Most concerning of all, my elderly mother fell due to the persistent bathroom leak that was never addressed, despite multiple complaints.
On top of that, the staff seemed reluctant to provide even basic supplies like toilet paper. I found myself having to repeatedly ask, and eventually just went out and bought my own. That is completely unacceptable and honestly embarrassing for a paying guest.
The customer service here is terrible. Management needs to step up—train your staff to be more responsive, polite, and professional. Your guests...
Read moreWas there from 2/26/25 till 3/13/25. The good: nice rooms, beautiful view from the balcony and even better from the rooftop area. Ideal location, many businesses and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a metro station 🚉 right across the street that can get you just about anywhere in the city. The staff is friendly but often somewhat forgetful when you ask for clean, dry towels and toilet paper. The bad: housekeeping does not replenish or clean your room every day. I ended up having to buy my own toilet paper. No ice machine is available. The ugly: the pool. Enter and swim 🏊♀️ at your own risk. I was afraid of contracting an ear infection, so I stayed away from it. I did see an employee pouring out some dark colored liquid into it. What I didn't see was anyone measuring the PH balance with testing strips. Maybe they do, I just didn't see it. Overall, I'd say that I enjoyed it. Was pleased. Would definitely stay again, and I'm...
