Hostal Plaza by Elvita — Hotel in Baños de Agua Santa

This has to be one of the worst hotels/hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The noise and size of the rooms are complete crap. The noise travels as if you’re in the conversation. The other guest lack any respect and make noise at all hours. The room was barely big enough to walk through and had zero space for anything. For the noise alone avoid this place, location is great. Location is hard to be the only choice to make the decision. After speaking to management they asked why I didn’t go make a report, at 5 am? Mind you they have cameras and want me to tell them to there job I was given a worthless ticket to make up for the issue. In the form of a drink voucher for a canelazo. When taken to the restaurant was told they were worthless. As it was one time per guest as a welcome. Even though I had an issue with the hotel and it was given as and I’m sorry. Do not stay here if you want any sleep at all. The hotel is located at the center park. There was so much noise from the streets and no sound barrier to help. You can hear everything going on in the hallways and on the different floors. The multiple music sources were vibrating the room and we couldnt even hear the sound coming from our own phones. It was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. Our saving grace was that the power got cut around 2am due to the power shortage. But then I got woken up again at 6am due to people blasting music in the hotel? There was a window open in the bathroom that could not shut. The window let in the horrible horrible trash smell from the alley way. We could not use the bathroom it was that bad. The only reason we decided to stick it out was because 1. We already paid 2. The location was great next to night life and shops 3. The room/bed seemed clean. Please spare yourself the frustration. Soy una persona con discapacidad. Me hospedé con mi esposa la noche del viernes 8 y sábado 9 de septiembre del 2023. Me dijeron que me harían un descuento por la discapacidad pero al final me cobraron lo mismo argumentando que no me habían hecho ese descuento. Lo bueno fue que me dieron una habitación en planta baja para que yo no suba escaleras, pero esa habitación tenía la pintura inflada y despegada de la pared (que asumo es por la humedad) que le daba muy mal aspecto. Además, había humedad con moho en el tumbado del cuarto de baño. Lo peor de todo es que se cortó la fuente de agua caliente precisamente cuando mi esposa estaba enjabonado y por más que pedí ayuda , mi esposa terminó enjuagándose con agua totalmente fría.
