MERCEDES RESTAURANT B&B — Hotel in Baños de Agua Santa

Everyone at this family-run B&B was so nice. When I arrived too late for dinner at their restaurant, he dropped me off in town at a recommended restaurant. They also did my laundry for a small fee, and provided an included breakfast that had several different options. Everyone was very attentive and available to ask questions.

There had been thoughtful updates to the room and bathroom. The B&B has amazing views over Baños, and yet is only about a ten minute walk to the center. If you’re going to higher elevation next, the walk back up the hill is good practice — otherwise you can take a taxi. They also have some comfortable common spaces to sit outside of the room where you can look at the views and have best access to the WiFi. WiFi worked in my room on the first floor, but not well enough to do video calls.
