If you are looking for a Company to handle all of your Mindo needs, Luis, and Mindo Xtreme is it! I contacted Luis to handle a large group as we were planning on getting married in Mindo. Our group was 20-50 people and he planned two days of adventures, picked us up from hotel, drove us, arranged transportation to and from Quito, arranged for after hour tours, with meals. He also arranged my welcome dinner in el Mariposario and it was better than the wedding itself!!!

We went tubing, canyoning, and hiking with Luis. He also drove me around after the wedding to the best places to get pictures and he himself was always available via whats app to assure that anything we needed was covered.

I would say, if you are going to Mindo, dont book anything until you speak to Luis, message him via Whats App and he will make sure everything is perfect. I could not be more thankful to him...

As our first adventure in Ecuador we weren’t sure what to expect... got dropped by taxi at the office and from there got a lift in the back of a jeep through the forest which was a lot of fun in itself. The Zipline was such a thrill, and beautiful too! The guys were fun and even pointed out local flora and fauna as we walked from line to line. Definitely recommend doing 10 lines as each is different and you get surprises along the way (like being upside down or superman). After this we took a cable car a short drive away to the waterfalls where we could walk alone freely along small paths in the forest. There are more than 6 pools you can swim in, but we only saw 3 as we were limited to 2 hours. You could spend a whole day there easily. This is a budget hotel for tourists doing tours of the region. The owner is a tour operator and links you up with any of the local tour groups and sell the tickets for entry at the same prices. He also has some discount bundles which are a great option. The hotel is about 400 meters outside of town and is an easy walk in for meals. The owner numerous times gave me a free lift into town and was extremely helpful. I only gave a 4 star review as currently there is major road construction directly in front of hotel that was a bit annoying, but that is not the hotels fault.
