This is a review based on February:! We have no idea of how it will be in the busy hot seasons. PLEASE BE AWARE OF VISA COST UPON ENTRY TO COUNTRY!!!! £25 PER PERSON, but when you get off plane there are 3 kiosks, go to them as they charged approx £20 per person in total. DO NOT go to the ones that shout for you as they charge more. We got to the hotel and it's very welcoming in reception. There is a security gate that everyone goes through, so instantly you feel safe. Reception staff are pleasant enough and when asked a question they do manage to resolve it. Everything is explained and leaflet given to you for "inclusive" info. Rooms are pretty good but bathroom is in need of a revamp. Smoking and non smoking rooms are available. The hotel has a number of bars open depending upon time of year. There are two restaurants where the food is very good quality and my wife is very particular about what to eat and how it looks/tastes. There is a pool bar outside of restaurant hours. Snacks were available at this time, there is a bar is just above the main reception, but drinks are chargeable. To maximize your sunbathing I would suggest that you go round the pool from 10:00 and then have lunch ( if hungry) and then head to the beach. To get to the beach across a bridge over the main road. Then down on a slightly dodgy lift. Alternatively you can go out of hotel, turn right and cross road, through another reception and your there. It's a beautiful beach with plenty of beds, drinks and ice cream are available too. Cost extra for ices. Started getting cool at 4:30. We found that you need a fleecy or cardy. WI-FI is only available in reception but is free. Alternatively you can rent a dongle for your stay roughly costing €15. Shops are near by, but we liked the one as you turn right to main road then left and it's just there. He left us to look and just served with a niceness. They also have another supermarket ( right turn out if hotel) and a perfume shop, all really lovely kind people who bend over backwards and are very friendly. They love to chat and tell you about their home etc. ATM available right from hotel then right, only gives local currency. Tipping is a big thing here, you can give English, euros, dollars or local money, we found it easier to say we haven't got any and they are fine, but we did watch and decided who we tipped to at end of our stay. Feel free to haggle and some love it, some are more cautious but we found being friendly but firm and they usually give in as it's all money for them. We tried to learn a few basic words ( please- thank you etc) and they really appreciate that. They all try hard to speak to you and remember you and things about you. It's a beautiful beautiful place and we will go again. We did a dolphin/snorkel excursion and OMG!!! FANTASTIC. We also had a massage and jacuzzi which we haggled down. But again all really good prices anyway. We would like to say a big big thank you to a few people - Hamada, Shadey & Hany- for excellent waiter service and really good company. And also our pool guy who sorted our towels and chairs out every day. And lastly Mai from Hora's spa is a beautiful funny girl who gets in your heart. So BOOK BOOK BOOK your holiday and have a...

Dreadful! One of the worst hotel in which I have been in my whole life! The hygienic conditions of the whole hotel are non existent, you can experience any kind of dirtness that is conceivable by the human mind in the whole structure, including the restaurant where you will find dirty tablecloths and cups, glasses and cutlery which are clearly not being washed properly! The rooms and the furniture in the whole hotel are in terrible status,if they are not broken or totally worn-out,they are dirty!Have a look at the pictures for a better understanding! The wifi connection is only available in the lobby and the pool but the speed is so slow that it's practically unusable! The noise levels that you can experience in any room are unbelievable with construction works going on in the nearby hotels, and also the cleaning staff most of the time is shouting in the corridors without caring about guests trying to rest and they don't even clean up properly the room! The only thing that is acceptable is the private beach, but even there you will find out that most of the sunbeds are...

Currently stranded here due to EgyptAir flight 274 being pushed back from 7:35 pm to 2:30 am (it’s currently 12:12 am and my wife and I are sitting in the lobby after giving up on rooms here - we’ve been in 3 and all were infested with a huge amount of insects and roaches) They (EgyptAir) brought us to this dump on the pretext that the airline wanted to treat passengers to dinner while they wait for a part to be flown in from Cairo airport for the plane we’re meant to take. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend eating here. We haven’t tried anything, and are basically in the lobby ironically counting the minutes to go back to relative paradise - Hurghada Airport. At least the bug situation there is in better control. And by the way, the drive from here to Cairo is 5 hours, but because it’s so late/dark outside it’s dangerous to drive. So here we are. It’s 12:17 am, hopefully we take off from HRG in the next couple of hours and out of this hell hole hotel in the next 40 minutes. Pray...

This hotel was perfect. We arrived late and only needed one night since we will be going on a liveabord trip this afternoon. This hotel has a 24-hour front desk, security, breakfast included, and the most accommodating and friendly staff. There is a bar, a restaurant, a spa and a pool and Wifi. From the reception at night by "Reception" Mohammed to the kind lady who did our check out on the morning, the great gentleman "Restaurant" Mohammed who was there for breakfast, we could not be happier. We needed cash, and Mohammed actually walked with us to the ATM and then helped us order food well after midnight to be delivered to us. The room had AC, a nice little balcony, and a clean bathroom with comfortable beds. It is an older building, maybe not the most fancy, but the staff makes up for that in all ways. There is a private beach that is for guests only and requires a pass, making it a very safe and tranquil beach. If you need a room for a night, or maybe are on a budget, this is it.
