Syake Sushi Hurghada — Restaurant in Al Hadaba

We went there today around 10 pm. The place is well decorated and the atmosphere is nice. It’s not that big, they have four big tables indoor and another one table outside. They also play very nice Japanese MUSIC, that creates very nice vibes. We LOVED it.

The stuff is welcoming and attentive, they will help you place an order and can recommend some good plates too if you can’t decide what to eat.

The menu is big and written in a very clear way that make it easy for anyone to choose what to eat even if it’s your first time to try Sushi. Every plate has a clear description below. You can tell from the menu that they exerted a lot of effort creating it. Maybe that’s the reason why they asked me in an indirect way not to take pictures of the menu. (That’s why I couldn’t post the whole menu) I didn’t like it and it made me feel uncomfortable. But they said some competitors copy their menu ! I don’t get the idea honestly. I personally prefer to check the menu of any restaurant before I try it. And even if someone steals the menu, so what?! They can’t steal the reputation, the food quality, the good taste !

First, We tried Smoked salmon with shrimp Salad, it was so good but the portion was quite small and there were barely shrimp and salmon. 5/5 for the taste and 2/5 for the portion.

Then we ordered Sushi, the best one was the Nigiri Kunsei, the salmon was so good. 5/5 comes next the Mago (California roll). 5/5 Then the Spicy lemon roll (fried rolls). 5/5 We didn’t like the ones with fresh Tuna, New York (dragon roll) was okay 3/5, but the Nigiri Maguro was not good at all. 1/5 The old school Philadelphia was okay. 4/5

The prices are fair for the food quality and quantity. They don’t add tax or vat or service. We paid 770 for 36 pieces of sushi and one salad which is the average for the Sushi prices.

Amazing Experience at Syake Sushi Hurghada!

Syake Sushi is without a doubt the best place in Hurghada for fresh and delicious sushi. Everything was absolutely perfect — the fish was fresh, the rice perfectly cooked, and every roll beautifully presented. The portions were generous and the quality far above what you usually find in the area.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is cozy, clean, and has a calm atmosphere that makes the dining experience even better.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was. As a lovely touch, we were even served a complimentary fruit platter after our meal.

Highly recommend Syake Sushi to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese flavors in Hurghada. I’ll definitely...

“Not Recommended – Poor Quality and Unprofessional Response to Feedback”

We came here hoping for a nice dining experience, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. While the service was quick and friendly, the food was below standard: • The tuna sashimi was tasteless, clearly cut while frozen, and of unacceptable quality. • The salmon pasta was equally underwhelming. • Only the mango juice was good – but that’s not why you go to a restaurant.

When we politely shared our honest feedback, instead of addressing it professionally, the owner chose to blame us and even made threats. This attitude shows how little they value their customers’ opinions.

With years of experience working in the restaurant industry as a chef and waiter, we know what good service and quality food should look like – and neither was delivered here.
