Marlin Inn Beach Resort — Hotel in Red Sea

We stayed for 4 nights, first the room cleanliness was excellent. The bathroom was really good too, it felt comfortable to stay in the room, it was very spacious with decent furniture. The only downside was that the AC was terrible, it would sometimes make the room hotter than the weather outside, and we didn't wanna go through the hassle of changing rooms so we just ignored it, but they should've provided a lighter cover because it's spring time 28+ degrees and we're using a dovet as a cover so it would get too hot at night, and there weren't enough plugs to charge our phones, we had to remove the table lamp plug, also the phone to the reception was not working at all, and the safe was locked. When it comes to the food it was decent, not great but not bad, what i loved the most though was the seafood night, absloutely spectacular dishes, the food in general was VERY clean, with so many varieties of protein and fish every day, but very little veggies, the pasta station was fabulous but everything lacked salt which isn't a problem since they do provide salt and pepper on the tables, the salad bar was an absloute disaster though, a whole section of cold cuts weird pastes not even pastries, i have no idea what it was but it had hot dog in it and there was so many of it, people rarely even ate them, as for the fresh salad it was so bad as well, just lettuce and you'd be lucky if you find tomatoes and cucumbers especially at dinner time, and the alternatives weren't satisfactory at all, the salads were not labeled so you really didn't know what you were getting and they looked questionable. As for the breakfast though it was really good, we often left very very satisfied. The chefs are very friendly, always smiling and willing to help. The snacks bar on the beach, though, was FANTASTIC. Really good Italian pizza, very generous toppings, and it was really to die for thin, crispy, and always hot. The drinks were really bad though, all soft drinks were not carbonated enough, the iced tea was really good, the beach was amazing but the amount of people in the hotel were a lot more in comparison to sun beds and dinning tables so we'd often have to search for a table. The staff were excellent as well as the animation team. Great music on the beach, overall our stay was decent we liked the place a lot and we were comfortable with everything, for the price it definitely offers value, good time to relax and cleanliness. The location is really good as it's located on the tourist walk, so many bazars surrounding the place, markets, and restaurants with taxis available right in front of the hotel. We'll definitely...

The Marlin Inn Azur Resort ( Former name The Marlin Inn Beach Resort) is a four star hotel but the service there is a five star rating. The whole hotel staff are professional and friendly. They even took care of the little things right away. Spacious, clean and quiet room with kettle and seifpox. Complimentary 1.5 liter bottle of water for each occupant. Bed linen and towels are changed daily. The food was good. Several food options. Lots of salads, good fresh rolls and breads. A variety of good cakes. Also at the beach bar is a good pizza. The hotel features a clean, it will be renovated at all times more. Beach is close and it is clean. -- The only big minus was the animation team. It was really bad and incredibly unprofessional. They were there on vacation, not at work. Four people staged gymnastics during the day only morning and volleyball and sometimes belly dancing during the day. All day they sat talking with friends at the beach and bar, eating, drinking, and burning tobacco. The same thing continued in the evening at the hotel. For the kids in the evening, the minidiscus, even the people complained. Evening program in the lobby hall is poor. Between the clients it happened that people of anime people got more free. It did not matter whether a person was calling or singing. One Russian man still did appear on most nights. Although people complained there was no help. Had to leave when I could not hear it. Disco music terrible and so loud that there could not be. Dj put somebody on a music disc to play and went out of their way. Hopefully, in the fall, the animation team changed when we went there again. The hotel was otherwise perfect and the staff incredibly friendly. We are over two months and enjoy every day. My family and I spent our vacation in July 2019 in this hotel. Actually, the place in really good and cozy. The fact, that the hotel is old one with relatively high the main building and some 2 and 3 floors ones, creates nice atmosphere. Food was good and diverse, likewise drinks. Despite fruits, if found something tasty, eat it as much as possible)) Our room was enough big and bright, it was cleaned every day with towels changing without extra money or reminding. The main drawback in our case was that 4 people had to sleep on 3 beds. I tried to solve the issue, administration made view that they do something, but can't help. They offered another room... with 2 beds)) Fortunately, it was just one and last problem during our visit. The beach and the sea are amazing. There is absent of dangerous corals on the bottom, so children can swim free and without supervision. There were foam parties, volleyball, fitness in water, table tennis on the beach. Also, there is children room with air con. Staff was nice and friendly. Likewise, other tourists were nice and friendly. There were a lot of people from different European countries and a lot of tourists from Egypt. It was real surprise for me. However, we didn't face with any problem with it.
