Bed and breakfast (UK term) is a better description rather than a hotel. A local entrepreneur (it seems) had bought the top floor of this residential building and rents out the rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean with a good ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is cooked and served by the manager himself from a little kitchen in reception and served in the balcony with a spectacular view, both of the pyramids and the poverty stricken houses of downtown Giza. It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside and there are no signs either. Even the taxi driver said, "are you sure you want to stay here?, please be careful and watch your bags outside".
