Disappointing Experience – Overpriced and Dishonest Service

Last Friday, we visited your restaurant, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the service was unfriendly and unwelcoming, despite the restaurant being only half full.

When placing our order, we requested a menu card, but we were falsely informed that there wasn’t one. This felt like a deliberate attempt to hide the prices from customers. However, we later discovered that a menu card does exist, which was misleading and dishonest.

We ordered a mixed grill, which was supposed to include chicken, meat, and fish based on the information provided by your staff. However, when the food arrived, there was no fish on the plate. When we tried to clarify this with you, you rudely ignored us and walked away with a harsh attitude.

To make matters worse, the total bill was outrageously high—four times what would be expected for a restaurant of your standard. In fact, the pricing was even higher than a five-star restaurant, which is completely unreasonable given the experience and quality of service we received. Food was good

Overall, our visit was extremely disappointing. Transparency, fair pricing, and good customer service are essential for any restaurant, and unfortunately, we didn’t find any of these here. At dinner, you choose from a set menu, but there were many options for the main dish, and they all looked very delicious. And the main dish we chose was actually very delicious. The set menu started with soup and bread, then several small plates of traditional Egyptian food (photo), and then the main dish. Even the main dish came with chips and rice, so it was very filling.
