Wow where do I start?

Pros: spacious family 2 bedroom apartment, sea view, a/c, WiFi to bedroom if you pay extra. Water slides for kids, kids club. Amazing fish restaurant called Ocra that has lovely food at a good price, friendly staff and amazing sea view esp at sunset.

Cons: hope you're ready for this, may take some time. So, we arrived around 11pm. The key card didn't work and took 6 trips up and down the stairs then for the receptionist to let us in (rather than swap the key card over). We missed the bar as all bars close at 10pm. Missed the shop to get drinks for the room as it shut during our relays of the stairs. The staff that night were not very helpful, laughed at us and didn't offer us drinks. We were all dehydrated including my son and it was hot (in the 30s during the night). Our apartment was spacious but in very poor condition and outdated. The double bed was broken and sunken in. The towel used to prop up one corner. The glass in the picture above the bed was broken. Dried blood splatters on the wall. Broken light fittings. Asked to be moved rooms to be told there isn't any until 12.....you could hear a pin drop the place was that quiet. Morning came, was told no rooms to change too come back at 2pm. Reception staff were rude except Mina who was very accommodating, friendly and understanding. The water park is spread over three hotels (two sister hotels on the other side of a very busy and dangerous road). Main restaurant across the road. Private beach and main pool across the road. Rooms don't get cleaned, sheets get changed once a week if you're lucky or tip the cleaner. If you need anything from anyone your best tipping 1usd to the cleaner or waiters for you to get anything you need. Shops on sight are in the underground of the hotel across the road (you get pestered a lot to go into their shops and sometimes they follow you. Not safe if female on your own). Walking adverts on the private beach- someone always trying to sell you something until you have no money left, only then they will leave you alone. Food is basic, we used saya cafe.....also across the road....when we got sick of the restaurant food. Drinks selection is not great unless you love coke. Al a carte restaurant food ok I guess but I highly recommend the fish restaurant on site called Ocra. When I booked the Al a carte meal on the system self service for booking (when all inclusive you get a free meal for all once a week) It only came up with my name. I checked with reception to check that it was for all three of us, to be told it was. Got to four corners and they said it was down for one person. But they sat us down. Served us a 3 course meal that was premade and barely hot, rushed service. To then be slapped with a bill for 33 euros. I was told it was for the extra 2 people. The waiter became very rude, argumentative to the point my partner had to step in. We had to travel through all three hotels to sort the situ and back again. So don't recommend it! If you have kids the Mirette family aqua resort isn't the best place, your best booking at sister hotels across the road where EVERYTHING is.

Advice- keep your teen girls, wives and girlfriends close as the local men try to lure them into the shop to try and sell you some of their Egyptian Blackpool tat.

I would not recommend this hotel, everyday something popped up. It was like a new episode of faulty towers and...

Pros: Easy to find Very close to Hurghada's GoBus station Close to pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, and other services Clinic on-site Access to all facilities, including pools, and restrictions of all 3 Sunny Days hotel chain AC - quick and powerful in all rooms Balcony view from top floors Beach view and warm water in the summer No bugs (except for occasional mosquitoes) Housekeeping and laundry service - HK comes around noon to change towels, take out the trash, provide 3 water bottles, and if you are present, ask you if you need anything Laundry took 15 hours, but they did a good job and it was very affordable Follow up by reception to make sure the router and internet service I purchased worked (it didn't but I appropriated the follow up) Kettle, sugar, tea, and instant coffee packets provided in the room Decent size room with working TV (poor quality but it was decent)

Cons: Furniture is very old and stained Walls are dirty and patched Cracks in the flooring in all rooms Very old AC Curtains are nasty: stained and filthy Linens are stained Fridge is rusted, leaking, and was balanced by an old, crushed plastic bottle Stained sofa (large spot and several smaller spots) The bathroom had the nastiest shower curtain I've ever seen! Stains of various colors, mold and mildew, and discoloration everywhere on the curtains and walls. The walls had a variety of stains The bathroom smelled like the sewer The shower drain was filled with gunk and hair The waterslides were fun

I had to ask for the manager who referred me to the facilities assistant manager who came with 4-5 other employees to wipe down the furniture, wash off as much as they could from the walls, switch the fridge, etc The restaurant food was not impressi, and at times, inedible. The workers clean up the table before you get a chance to touch your food (happened more than once) I ended up buying food from the local markets and restaurants multiple times even though we paid for all the meals The pool staff are too busy either on their phones, watching women and girls, or talking to each other One pool guard was smoking while monitoring the slides

I absolutely would never return. Lesson learned. It's such a shame that such...

First of all, I would like to mention that I have been visiting this hotel many times since my childhood. It holds a very special place in my heart, as it is associated with many wonderful memories shared with my family. I truly appreciate the hotel's many advantages, especially its prime location in Hurghada, its convenient proximity to everything, and its spacious layout that allows for easy movement between the three hotels and full access to all facilities.

However, during my recent stay, I encountered several issues that made my experience less comfortable than expected. I am sharing these observations with the hope that they can be addressed, as I would love to continue visiting this hotel in the future. The points I noticed are as follows:

The room furniture appears very old and worn out. In particular, the bed makes a loud noise with every movement, which disturbed my sleep.

The air conditioners seem outdated, possibly from the 1990s, and they produce a loud noise when operating. Unfortunately, the bedroom air conditioner was not effective in cooling the room.

The bathroom fixtures are heavily worn, the toilet seat is uncomfortable and in poor condition, and the electrical outlet in the bathroom was not functioning.

The refrigerator door was broken and difficult to close properly.

The electricity in the entire room would shut off and restart automatically at random times, which was quite inconvenient.

The variety and quality of food were not up to the usual standard. During my five-day stay, the lunch and dinner offerings were almost identical every day, and the overall taste was disappointing. Room no.255 I'm confident that with some attention to these areas, the hotel can maintain its excellent reputation and continue to offer the wonderful experiences I have always known and loved. Thank you for taking my feedback into...

The place is nice, it has two parts, one next to the sea and across the road another part. The part across the road is connected through a mini tunnel under the road so that people can easily reach the beach. The bed sheets are white. The kitchens from the villas have appliances (fridge, microwave, cook machine) and they provide also pans, pots, dishes and cutlery, but everything has to be re washed. Villas are nice inside, 3 rooms and 1 bathroom upstairs and a large living room with balcony downstairs. The room upstairs that have king bedroom has also balcony. They provide also white towels, toilet paper and soap. There is a big restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner in a buffet style. If you are a tourist, I wouldn't recommend to eat vegetables as they are not washed with filtered water so you might get sick. There is a pool for adults and one for kids and a beach volleyball court. The whole complex is very big, it has night entertainment and scuba center. It is a great place to do snorkeling with areas with an abundance of fish 🐟 swimming there with them tou feel you are swimming in an aquarium. Many people come here for the snorkeling experience which is exquisite.

Liebe Grüße an Mohamed X Y Mohamed von der Bar and good luck.
