Our experience at this hotel was, unfortunately, disappointing in many aspects.
Cleanliness was clearly insufficient. There were old, worn-out furnishings, stained and detached curtains, and broken sunbeds. We had two rooms — one had newer furniture while the other was outdated. The same inconsistency applied to the bathrooms: one had been renovated, while the other was in a very poor condition. The shower tray was patched and so old that it looked dirty no matter what.
The fridge in our room was iced over and had been unplugged before our arrival. When I opened it, melted ice poured out onto the floor, soaking everything. Since we checked in at 5 a.m., we were extremely tired and didn’t want to deal with cleaning it ourselves. Fortunately, during morning housekeeping, Aly took care of it. She was incredibly hardworking, warm, and had even decorated the room for us, which we appreciated very much. Unfortunately, I didn’t have cash on our last day to tip her, and I regret that deeply.
The sea and beach were beautiful in the morning, but by afternoon, strange dirty-looking substances washed ashore. They resembled seaweed but were quite unpleasant.
Breakfast was very mediocre, some staff were rude, and the snack bar was completely unhygienic. The food offered there was close to inedible. I was shocked to see a staff member serving food onto paper plates using gloved hands in a very unsanitary way. The employee at the pool bar and the popcorn vendor were both extremely rude, making you feel like you were bothering them just by ordering. The snack bar staff, in general, were inattentive and unprofessional.
For main meals, plastic plates and cups were used, which is unacceptable. The main dishes were average — you won’t go hungry, but if you value good food, you’ll be disappointed. Restaurant waiters were kind, but clearly needed trainin in the morning, but by afternoon, strange dirty-looking substances washed ashore. They resembled seaweed but were quite unpleasant.
Lobby bar was the best place of the hotel. They use glasses, not plastic. And the staff was sympatic and helpfull.Detox water was a delicius surprise for us.
We were traveling 2 moms and 2 Girls,15years old.So i didn't wanna having any argue with someone. But while check out, the tall recepcionist asked if we're plasenta and had any problem.Because of the cause i've mentioned in said only yes.He wanted me to vote and review on booking.com.I said alright. But he wanted me to make it there. When i said later,he wanted my mobile. When i asked why, he said he s gonna vote and review. It was unacceptable,i felt angry. He was so rude and still smiling.
The hotel’s taxi service was reliable. But drivers kept directing us to a specific shop, which seemed like a commission-based partner. We would have preferred unbiased recommendations instead of being pushed toward a particular place. And they said they pick us up from there again. That means you're binded this shop to call driver. And they really push you to buy somethings. And then the shop owner want to add a guide to our small girls group. We didn't want but he pushed to much with many excuses. So i rudly refused him. Then we returned to the shop for taxi calling, he didn't care with us.We promised him we ll buy in his shop at the beginning.so i kept my promise. But he charged $8 for each cups what he said $5 at our first visit. When we refused he said he was not a fraud.LOL.So pls want drivers tel no, and refused to visit any shop they want.
You can exchange money at the ATM in the lobby, but it doesn’t allow you to convert Egyptian pounds back into euros or dollars — so plan.
I am sure that i've never return this...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown from start to finish. I had high hopes based on the online pictures, but upon arrival, my concerns began to rise.
I must say, it was without a doubt the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff and service were unbelievably unprofessional, making my stay a nightmare from start to finish. Upon arriving at the hotel, my first impression was bizarre and concerning. There was a hazardous waste bin placed at the reception area, which immediately raised red flags about the overall cleanliness and safety of the establishment. The issues began as soon as I entered my room. Despite booking a room for four people, consisting of two adults and two children aged 4 and 7, I was shocked to find only two single beds in the room. After notifying the reception, it took them over an hour to send someone, and all they did was lay out a sofa bed in another room. Naturally, the kids refused to sleep on their own, creating an uncomfortable situation for the entire family. The next day, we were promised a room change, but we never received the expected call, and when we returned, all they had done was add another single bed to the existing room after I tipped the room service staff 50EGP We were forced to make do with this unsuitable arrangement for our entire 8-night stay. The dining experience was equally disappointing. To have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we had to go to a different hotel across the road, which was not only inconvenient but also dark and grim. If we wanted a decent meal at a proper restaurant, we had to walk about 400 meters down the road and endure a wait time of 30-45 minutes just to get in. The food options were extremely limited and monotonous, with the same repetitive items offered every day, including rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, zucchini, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken, the occasional fish dish, and one type of meat that changed daily. However, the most significant problem we encountered was with a staff member named Mohammed. We reported a problem with the air conditioning in the morning and were assured that an engineer would be sent to resolve the issue. Despite their promises, nothing was done, and the temperature outside was a scorching 39 degrees Celsius. After multiple complaints, I was finally told that someone would come immediately, but after waiting for 45 minutes, no one arrived. Frustrated and with sweaty, uncomfortable children, I politely requested to speak with the manager. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, Mohammed began raising his voice at me, resorting to rude and offensive language. It escalated to the point where security had to intervene. To my astonishment, security informed me that there was no manager present at this hotel, and the managers were only available at the hotels across the road, Sunny Day Palma or Sunny Days El-Placio. I had to make my way to El-Placio, which took an additional two hours to resolve the issue. Furthermore, if you wish to access the beach, be prepared to cross the road once again, adding unnecessary inconvenience to your stay. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your stay. The overall experience was nothing short of disastrous, with a staff that was poorly trained, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Save yourself the frustration and choose a different accommodation option that values their guests and provides a satisfactory...

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately marked by several inefficiencies and frustrations that significantly impacted our experience.
Upon arrival, although we had booked two rooms for four people, we were only given one. We were asked to wait "five minutes" for the second room, which turned into an hour. When we returned to the lobby, we were told the staff member had simply forgotten. After two hours of waiting, we finally received our second room. We had paid extra for a sea view, but our room overlooked the children’s pool instead.
The following morning, we were woken up at 8 a.m. by loud construction directly on our wall. When we asked the front desk how long the noise would last, we were told it would continue daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We requested a room change and were promised a new room at 2 p.m. However, when we returned at that time, the new receptionist had no knowledge of our situation and asked us to wait again. After another hour and multiple follow-ups, we were finally moved to a different room.
Another inconvenience was the limited availability of water. Only three small bottles were provided in the room. When we ran out at 3 a.m., we went to the lobby, where we were directed to the bar. The bartender gave us three bottles but couldn’t break a €20 note. We offered to charge the water to our room, but he insisted we speak to reception again. Reception then informed us that this was not possible because they couldn’t find the paper, and instead suggested room service. Despite being at the bar with the water in hand, we were not allowed to take it because they had "run out of papers" to charge it to the room. In the end, we left without any water.
Cleanliness was another issue. The first room we were given still had sand on the floor and toothpaste in the bathroom from the previous guest. The bathroom itself was outdated, and the shower looked unclean. While the rest of the room was fairly clean, the balcony door did not lock properly, posing a security concern—especially for ground-floor rooms. At one point, a child even wandered into our room uninvited.
Other minor, yet frustrating, details included Extra chargé for wifi in the room, but the service is super bad. Chewing gum sticking to my skirt from a chair and inconsistent service in the themed restaurants. Out of the four "special" restaurants offered, we tried two. The seafood restaurant (with a €15 supplement) was excellent—the food was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. However, the Italian restaurant was underwhelming. The atmosphere lacked charm, the bruschetta was nothing more than stale bread from the buffet, and my shrimp pasta came with pieces of chicken. The dish itself was edible but resembled a pre-packaged meal.
Overall, while some individual staff members clearly tried their best and were friendly, the experience was marred by poor organization and a lack of efficient systems in place. This review is not meant to criticize the staff personally—many were doing what they could within a flawed structure. Unfortunately, the top-down management seems to lack coordination, which impacts both the guest experience and the staff's ability to provide proper service. Additionally, while the staff were polite and approachable, communication was often difficult due to language barriers, particularly with limited English spoken. These issues, taken together, made our stay far more frustrating than it...
