We stayed at jaz dhabeya on 23/8-27/8 room number we arrived at the hotel at 8:00 and no one was in the front desk, after 20 minutes a receptionist named Mamdouh showed up and was very rude to us, he didnt even say good morning or welocme the first thing he said i have no rooms avialable till 14:00 so go to fill the arrival papers he throw them on the desk and went inside , while he did nothing ... we tried to ask him about the breakfast and he didnt want ot answer evey time i was approching the front desk he was ignoring me and this can till how is the "hospitatliy" of this hotel. 15 minutes later another family came in and he welcomed them with a very big smile!!! and filled the arrival papers by himself...

when i asked to talk to the duty manager another receptionst named karlos was very calm and called the manager mr.hussien which is one of the rarest people smiling and welcoming in this hotel (also mr maher and osama at the front desk), when we talked to him he went and broght us welcome drinks, apologized and helped us to get the rooms on 11:00 am which i really apperciate. Ali at the front desk helped us to get in the rooms and welcomed us very kindly.

I got at the room and i was shcoked the room was full of dust with empty mini bar (after this i have known that every room gets full mini bar but mine no and this was for the whole stay) the towels were dirty i even found one with blood stains on it (see the pics) when i asked to change it they said we have no towels for today !!!! the problem was that there is no tissues or soap and when i asked the housekeeper Tamer he kept muttering!!!! and not to forget that the rooms were cleaned till 18:00 daily because there is only 4 people working to clean the rooms (so they take 5 mis only for every room so its not cleaned well)

i have to say that the doors of the rooms are corroded so a lot of dust and dirt pass by and make the ground look terrible.

i went after this to have some lunch and the buffet was one of the poorest i have seen in my life. even the taste wasnt that good and this was for our whole stay the food is very repetative and plain with no taste (i have to mention that vegeterians will not find anything to eat), the trays are so dirty and make loud sound when you close it which make a lot of noise. at the snack bar the food get years to be done but there i met mostafa who was very helpful and smiling. the beach and the pool were great i have nothing to complain about, the music is a little bit loud but thats ok. the hotel staff isnt really known about how to service the guests for example one day at the dinner one waiter named Atef inssisted to change for me the table i found after 15 mins of waiting (the restuarant was full because the hotel allocates time only 2 hours for the whole hotel to eat so its crowded all the time ) beacuse there is another family who needs to sit at my table when i talked to him and said that we started to eat so no need to change it and he didnt even listen!!!! another thing that made me feel uncomfortable is the animation team who goes by the pool and by the beach and ask you to write fake reviews and to choose 5 stars for every thing when i did it with less stars they took my phone and chnage it!!!! so dont make the fake reviews fool you its not authentic. another annoying thing is the beach towel matter on the first day they provide you 2 towels in the room that you have to carry with you all day and no one can change it for you you have to ro and search for beach towels the huoskeeper says go to the beach and at the beach they say we dont have any towels go and change it with the hosekeeping so you can spend half day just to search for a clean towel!! wich is crazy the hotel itself has nothing near no restaurants and one small supermarket so they provide shuttle bus which we didnt usd because its time at night it stops working the whole staff is stressed and not smiling every thing takes hours to be done and only mr hussien can help, most of them need to get trained before start there...

Title: Zero Service, Dirty Rooms, Scamming Market - A Complete Scam

This hotel is a masterclass in false advertising. Every aspect of our stay was a profound disappointment, failing on every conceivable level of a 5-star experience.

The Room Nightmare: We arrived at 5:30 AM and were forced to wait 8.5 hours for our room, finally getting access at 2:00 PM. We watched other families who arrived after us get their rooms hours earlier. Most distressingly, my aunt, who has a 74% disability, was given no priority and had to endure the entire wait. The room itself was filthy: stained sheets, a cashew on the bed (a serious allergy risk), dirty mirrors, and a broken safe.

Complete Lack of Service & "Dry Treatment": The service was non-existent. The waitstaff exhibited a shocking reluctance to work, an attitude we called the "dry treatment." Almost every simple request was met with a dismissive "No, I can't." We were never served at our tables; for every drink, we had to go to the bar ourselves, place the order, and carry it back. It became clear that waiters would only spring into action upon the immediate sight of a cash tip. Without upfront payment, there was simply no service.

Poor Dining & Absurdly Early Closures: The food at all buffets was incredibly repetitive with very little variety. The facilities are outdated, exemplified by a single, ancient toaster that took 10 minutes for one piece of toast. With no evening activities arranged by the hotel, the bar closures are inexplicably early: the beach bar closes at 6:00 PM and the pool bar, a primary evening venue, closes at 9:00 PM, leaving guests with nothing to do.

The Intentional Scam at the Hotel Market: The most shocking part was the blatant attempt to swindle us at the hotel's own market. The timeline speaks for itself:

· Day 1: I bought a large (size 120) inflatable ring for 450 LE when the main owner was absent. · Day 2: The owner was present. I tried to buy a smaller (size 100) ring. He claimed the first employee had made a mistake and the large ring should have been 550 LE. He then refused to sell me the smaller ring for 400 LE over a difference of just 50 LE. · Day 3: I returned for a size 90 ring. As punishment for not accepting his inflated price, he retaliated with absurd quotes: 650 LE for the small ring (nearly 50% more than the original large one!) and 900 LE for an inflatable bed. When I refused to be ripped off, he kicked me out of his shop.

This was a calculated strategy to exploit guests. This behavior is predatory.

This hotel is a complete failure. Do not waste your money. You will pay for a luxury vacation but receive a stressful, dirty, and scam-ridden experience.

The Hotel is really a great cozy place for families and individuals who seeks a perfect experience for Dahab’s water activities, diving, Kite Surfing and wind Surfing. The beautiful Aqua Bar by the beach and the vibes are great. Also, the room’s cleanliness and tidiness, the beach view as well. The place is equipped with a wonderful outdoor pools and Kids area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jaz Dahabeya Hotel in Dahab, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that continued throughout our stay. Accommodation and Facilities: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering stunning views of the Red Sea. The hotel's facilities, including the pool and beach areas, were immaculate and provided a perfect setting for relaxation and fun. Animation Team: A special shoutout to the Animation Team, who brought incredible energy and fun to our stay. Their activities and entertainment were top-notch, making every day enjoyable and lively. Their enthusiasm and friendliness truly made a difference. Restaurant Staff: The dining experience at Jaz Dahabeya was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding restaurant staff. I would like to specifically commend: Oudai Mohamed Eslam Mahmoud Mohamed Waleed Mohamed Gaber Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every meal was a delight. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs and made us feel incredibly welcome. Other Staff: The pool keeper and beach bartender also deserve recognition for their excellent service. They were always attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time by the pool and beach. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jaz Dahabeya Hotel in Dahab, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that continued throughout our stay. Accommodation and Facilities: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering stunning views of the Red Sea. The hotel's facilities, including the pool and beach areas, were immaculate and provided a perfect setting for relaxation and fun. Animation Team: A special shoutout to the Animation Team, who brought incredible energy and fun to our stay. Their activities and entertainment were top-notch, making every day enjoyable and lively. Their enthusiasm and friendliness truly made a difference. Restaurant Staff: The dining experience at Jaz Dahabeya was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding restaurant staff. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs and made us feel incredibly welcome. Other Staff: The pool keeper and beach bartender also deserve recognition for their excellent service. They were always attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time by the pool and beach. Overall, the staff at Jaz Dahabeya Hotel made our stay unforgettable with their exceptional service and genuine hospitality.
