I had the pleasure of completing my Tec 40 course with May, and I can confidently say it was one of the best training experiences I’ve ever had in diving. From start to finish, May demonstrated not only incredible professionalism but also a genuine passion for technical diving and for teaching it the right way.

Every dive was meticulously planned, and May made sure I understood each step before we got in the water. She has a way of explaining complex topics with clarity and patience, and she constantly made sure I felt comfortable and confident with every new skill. Her ability to observe, correct, and encourage is outstanding — I felt myself improving with each session thanks to her guidance.

Safety was always the top priority. May never rushed anything and created a calm, focused environment. Her attention to detail, both in dive preparation and execution, was something I really admired.

Beyond her technical skills, May is just a great person to spend time with — always approachable, full of positive energy, and willing to share her vast knowledge. She shared a lot of personal insights and real-life experiences from the tec diving world, which made the course even more enriching and inspiring.

This course wasn’t just a certification; it was an amazing dive journey, and that’s entirely thanks to May. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this dive center and train with her again. Circle Divers Dahab was awesome! A bunch of experienced and passionate divers who you can tell they do what they love. I dealt with many diving centers in and outside Egypt, Circle Divers Dahab is one of the best hands down… Their location was amazing to get the open water certification for my 10-year-old son. Wahby was fun to deal with. Mahmoud and Sherin were excellent dive masters for our first dives in Dahab. Anwar (the diving instructor) went above and beyond my expectations. On top of his great teaching skills for PADI/SSI material and techniques, his overall demeanour was a huge plus. As an instructor, he knows exactly when to stop, reiterate or come back later for a particular skill or a piece of information to ensure the message is delivered. His meticulous attention to my son's attention span and his ability to break down complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand was priceless. He was also great at answering all of our questions and ensuring that we are comfortable, safe, and confident in the water.

I just spent a month, split over two fortnight-long visits, earning my PADI Dive Master certification with Course Director Andi at CDD. This gave me the opportunity to observe the whole Circle Dahab team day in, day out.

They already run the most organized, professional and efficient dive centre I have seen. However, like any top quality operation, they are constantly striving to improve their standards. Where else in the region does everyone show up on time, everything is documented, checked and delivered as promised, giving you confidence in safety standards as well as customer service? I highly recommended this super friendly and helpful team and can tangibly measure the huge improvements in my diving, not just getting the PADI performance requirements ticked off.

I love that Andi does not smoke and that smoking is banned in the kitting-up area, perhaps a unique combination in Dahab? My only outstanding improvement suggestion, which I have made to the owner, is to make the entire centre non-smoking/vaping: most smokers don’t seem to mind going the extra few meters to the nearby road instead of blowing smoke from the comfortable seats, they just need to know...
