Title: A Perfect Getaway in Paradise - Unforgettable Experience at Savoy Sharm El Sheikh!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed staying at the stunning Savoy Sharm El Sheikh during my summer vacation in 2021, and I can confidently say it was an absolute paradise! Every aspect of my stay was exceptional from the moment I arrived until the day of departure. I highly recommend this 5-star resort to anyone seeking rest, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.
The resort's open buffet was a culinary delight. The wide selection of food and drink options was incredible. I savored every bite; each meal felt like a delightful journey through different flavors and cuisines. The culinary experience alone made my taste buds dance with joy!
The swimming pools at Savoy Sharm El Sheikh were nothing short of amazing. With five pools to choose from, I was spoilt for choice. The crystal-clear waters were perfect for a refreshing dip, and the poolside loungers provided the ultimate relaxation spot. However, the highlight was the resort's large beach, despite its limited swimming area. The golden sand and the soothing sound of the waves created a serene atmosphere that instantly melted away all my worries.
Entertainment was never in short supply at Savoy Sharm El Sheikh. The nightly events, including belly dancing and magic shows, were genuinely captivating. I was enthralled by the talented performers who added an extra magic touch to my evenings. Plus, being close to the vibrant market with its numerous attractions meant there was always something exciting to explore and experience nearby.
The staff at Savoy Sharm El Sheikh deserve a special mention. Their exceptional service and warm hospitality made me feel like a VIP. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Every interaction with the staff was a delight from check-in to check-out, and it made my vacation even more enjoyable.
As with any resort, there were a few minor downsides. During peak season, the resort can get quite crowded, but that's a testament to its popularity. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be a bit unreliable at times. However, considering the overall incredible experience, these minor inconveniences paled in comparison.
Savoy Sharm El Sheikh offers 400 spacious and well-appointed rooms and suites. The attention to detail in the room design was evident, and the private balcony or terrace provided breathtaking views. The resort's facilities, including the spa, fitness center, and multiple dining options, were top-notch and contributed to an enriching and luxurious stay.
For those seeking adventure, the resort offers various activities and excursions. There was never a dull moment, from thrilling snorkeling and diving experiences to windsurfing and even camel rides. The resort's location, just a short drive from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, also made it incredibly convenient.
In conclusion, my stay at Savoy Sharm El Sheikh was a dream come true. This 5-star resort genuinely delivered on its promise of relaxation. From the exceptional food and pools to the delightful entertainment and friendly staff, every aspect of my experience exceeded my expectations. While there were some minor drawbacks, the overall experience was remarkable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Savoy Sharm El Sheikh to anyone seeking an unforgettable vacation in the stunning Sinai Peninsula. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a tranquil escape, this resort is the perfect choice. Trust me, your time spent here will forever be etched in your memory.

We had a fantastic 21-day stay at The Savoy Hotel, which was grand, clean, and offered exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and contributed significantly to our positive experience.
Accommodation and Dining:
We had the E Class package, which included access to all hotel restaurants. We were able to prebook meals up to three days in advance, making it easy to plan our dining. While most of the food was included, certain dishes did incur an additional charge. Drinks were included, except for premium spirits and cocktails. However the house wines, beer, and soft drinks were included. The pricing, especially over Christmas, was somewhat unclear. For example, they charged $120 per person for a Christmas meal in a different restaurant, a price that wasn’t clearly mentioned at the time of booking. Despite this, the Christmas buffet at the Tirana, included in our E Class package, was fantastic and thoughtfully presented. On Christmas Eve, they offered free champagne, cocktails, and extra entertainment, which was a nice touch.
Extras:
Extra services like taxis and laundry were quite expensive. To save on laundry costs, we used the clothesline in the bathroom to wash clothes by hand with travel wash, which worked well. I also experienced some stomach issues during the trip, likely from the food, so I’d recommend being cautious with fruit and lattes.
Room Comfort:
The bed settee was very hard, and my daughter ended up sharing our bed, which wasn’t very comfortable for any of us.
Facilities:
The hotel’s lost property service was excellent, as they returned my daughter’s goggles and my wetsuit, which I had lost. The spa was modern and clean, with a large jacuzzi, a steam room, and a sauna (for adults only). We were allowed one free 1-hour session per week with the E Class package. The staff at the spa were friendly, making an effort to keep our 5-year-old daughter entertained. The gym was also clean and well-maintained, though it lacked air conditioning, and the equipment was limited. The gym did, however, have a lovely view of the pool.
Beach and Activities:
The beach was exceptional, with soft sand, volleyball, a bar, and clean toilets. There were two jetties for snorkeling, which was a highlight of our trip. Food was even served on the sunbeds, which added to the convenience.
Kids Club:
The kids club was one of the best features of our stay. Viola and Rawan were wonderful with the children, organising daily activities like sand sculptures, pizza-making, bracelet-making, and face painting. The kids club area was well-shaded and equipped with swings, slides, and playhouses. There was also a separate building with games consoles and TV for older children. Our daughter loved it so much that we literally had to drag her away at the end of each session!
Entertainment:
The evenings were made special by the hotel’s guitarist, Haytham, whose music was a hit with our daughter, who loved dancing to his tunes at the Italian restaurant. The Italian restaurant was also our favorite for dining, serving excellent food and accommodating our daughter’s preferences.
Overall:
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Savoy Hotel and would definitely consider returning in the future. The combination of great food, excellent kids’ facilities, and attentive service made our holiday memorable. While there were a few areas for improvement, such as the clarity of pricing and the comfort of the bed settee, overall it was a wonderful experience. We’d highly recommend this hotel to families, especially those with...
Read moreOverall, a fantastic stay and I highly recommend the hotel.
The good: The hotel has a lovely feel and look. A very pleasant place. Pools (lower 2 main pools are heated and are lovely, top pool was freezing so was empty). Food - both in the buffet restaurant and the al la cart options are really good. Hotel maintenance and cleanliness (top notch - really clean everywhere, lovely grounds, I saw a staff member notice a ridge in a path and the next day it was roped-off and being flattened). Not crowded (at least when I went in March 2022, meaning that there were no worries about getting a dinner reservation or sun lounger). Access to Soho square which is a 2 minute walk away Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi - although the standard internet is borderline unusably bad, the high speed internet only costs $5 a day or $30 for the week and is really good. Plus it was accessible from my room, the restaurants, and even poolside and on much of the beach - this is really good as it means that you don't have to worry about getting a SIM card or paying for data if you are not travelling away from the hotel much. Transfers to and from the hotel. The hotel organised these and it worked out great - this is especially recommended as there are many grifters at the airport trying to carry your bags 10 metres for a fee and get you an overpriced taxi - I highly recommend having transfers pre-booked. The airport is poorly placed at Sharm. I noticed on videos at other hotels that planes overflew them. At Savoy, whilst you can hear noise on occasion from the nearby airport, because it is not under flightpath it is not an issue unlike some other hotels in Sharm.
The bad: There are staff that try and sell you extras which can be annoying (massages, beauty treatments, excursions etc). Most were fine apart from the massage seller who would always try to sell me massages. The prices are also too high which puts you off - the excursions guy for instance said a good price for a desert ATV tour was GBP90 - where on the internet the standard price was GBP15-GBP25! That meant I did not book anything with them and instead I booked a diving excursion separately through the GetYourGuide app instead, which worked out great. It would be much better if the prices for these extras were set at a good level where you wouldn't have to haggle and were advertised in a nicer way (e.g. a brochure in the room and clearly posted pricing). The TV did not work well in my room as the colours were totally off. I use the internet more than TV, so I did not report this to the hotel and give them the opportunity to fix it though. The process of signing for drinks is a hassle. Having booked an all inclusive, I assumed I would have a wristband or smart card that meant that ordering drinks would be quick and easy. Instead the process is that the server has to go away with your room key and then come back with a receipt (for £0 in most cases as it's all inclusive) which you then write your name and room number on. Then separately you are served your drink. This can sometimes take a while and is a bit of a faff. Signing for drinks that are not in your package would be fine this way, but for basic drinks that you are ordering 10 times a day, it is a little bit of a hassle to go through this process and means that often there is a bit of a wait.
Overall, I had a great time and if I could get a similar deal again (GBP1,200 for a week's package trip for 2 people) I would stay here again in...
