We booked The Savoy as we were coming away with my 82 Yr old parents for a weeks rest away from the cold. As we knew the weather was perfect this time of year in Egypt as we have been a number of times in December. The hotel is beautiful and has lots of amenities so you don't really need to leave the hotel. Plus you have the added bonus of soho Square so their is lots of places to eat or have coffee etc. I can't praise the staff high enough. Ibrahim the pool boy from the top pool (rocky pool) was fantastic he couldn't do enough for us and was so friendly checking in regularly with my elderly parents. The waiters from the rocky pool bar were also fantastic nothing was to much trouble. Hisham and Hussain The waiters from The Rocky pool Bar and Rosmarino Italian restaurant gave us 5*plus care everyday. They are so friendly and attentive to even your smallest needs. The Al la Carte restaurants are amazing and the food was exquisite especially The seafood restaurant where the chowder and King prawns exceeded every expectation. The Italian restaurants food was so delicious. I00% recommended them and if you are all inclusive you can eat at each Al a Carte restaurant once for free during your stay. Myself and my husband had 3 different massages in the spa and were so impressed with the skills of Nesrine and Ahmed who took so much time and attention to devise what we needed to help with stress an my fibro myalgia and my husbands two joint issues. I can honestly say Nesrine has helped me more than any pain killer and I've been able to be so much more active this last week. If you want the most relaxing experience ask her for the hot oil massage and my husband said Ahmed gave him the best Thai massage he has ever had an that is high praise as we go to thailand at least once a year and have daily Thai massages.
On a less positive note the hotel is predominantly Russian guests with a small amount of Italian an English so the staff where not as fluent in English as other hotels but definitely enough to be understood. My only complaint was upon arrival we asked for a rooms close to reception and the main restaurant etc for my parents as at 82 we wanted to make sure they didn't have to much walking as the hotel is huge. An of course asked for a room next door or a few doors away so that we could regularly check in on them. The hotel gave my parents a great room very close to reception room 6103 as asked which was perfect but put us 30 rooms away from them room 6135 meaning we were to far away for my parents to walk if they needed us. And making regular checks on them in the evening much more difficult.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely big balcony to sit out on and kept lovely an clean, lots of English movie an news channels on the TV the hotel if beautiful and the staff are helpful, friendly and very attentive. Even the security guards are lovely.
It cost 300 LE for a return journey by taxi to Sinai clinic for our rapid covid tests 2 days before our flight home and they cost 20 euros or 25 dollars each. We look forward to visiting The Savoy...

At the beach please ask for Ahmed and Mahmoud from recreation & Mina and Romany from the beach bar these guys are extremely work hard to pamper you at the beach, they always check your needs. The most beautiful touch from them is when we came out from swimming they come quickly and ask if we need any drink. They provide ice box with 2 bottle of waters and complementary nuts and fruits in addition to free drinks.
