The Meraki Sharm El Sheikh is easily one of the best resorts that I have ever experienced.

The resort is aesthetically beautiful and immaculately clean in all areas, the views are breathtakingly amazing!

We booked the party never ends suite with a jacuzzi on the roof top (Room 15202) for 4 nights. The suite was stunning with amble amount of space, it included a living area, balcony, shower, two sinks a huge wardrobe and king size bed.

The highlight of the room was the roof top terrace which included two sun beds, a corner sofa and of course a jacuzzi for two with the option the adapt the temperature to your preference.

The views from the roof top were amazing! The suite offered a tranquil alternative to the pool and beach areas which were all also amazing!

As we booked a suite this allowed us access to an exclusive infinity pool, bar and the Utopia beach restaurant for suite guests only as well as free airport transfer. There was an issue with the jacuzzi the first night of our stay which I reported to the staff who acted promptly to get this resolved. The manager Hossam Okasha offered me a meeting to apologise for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much!

The beach area has beautiful cabanas which all guests are welcome to use. You could easily sit there all day taking in the breathtaking taking sea views.

The staff are what truly make the experience special. The staff are attentive, friendly, helpful and some of the nicest whole hearted people you will ever meet. They are happy to do anything for you, consistently ensuring that you have everything you need and are happy with your experience.

The animation team at this hotel is one of the best I have ever come across, there is always plenty of entertainment from pool parties to morning stretches and games for all to get involved in that include prizes if you choose to participate.

There are 8 restaurants in total which are all alar carte. Two of which are not included in the all inclusive and one that is exclusive to suite guest as mentioned previously. We had breakfast at the Munchery which was very delightful and catered to my husband’s vegetarian dietary needs. We also tried the Italian restaurant which was nice, however we found the service from the staff in this particular restaurant quite poor however this did not ruined our experience.

We spend most of our time at the Uptopia beach restaurant for suite guests only. The service at the bar and restaurant was on par with the level of service that you would receive in the Middle East, simply outstanding!!!

A special thank you to,

Claudine Mr. Mohammed Barman Tuoba Hussien Chef Mustafa and his team

They could not do enough for you, they go beyond their role ensuring you are always comfortable and satisfied!

Chef Mustafa is the absolute best, he will make the best sushi you have ever had and is happy to make adaptions to the menu to cater to your dietary needs and preferences.

The Barman Tuoba Hussien makes the best drinks and is very humorous and friendly.

Claudine provides the best customer service experience and is one of the nicest people that I have ever come across.

And Mr Mohammed is always professional and attentive.

It is hard to understand how anyone could leave a negative review about this resorts facilities or staff. The resort offers a unique experience with the option of a tranquil getaway or a boho party experience.

Booking a suite will enhance your stay and experience. Further to this booking directly on the Sunrise Meraki Sharm website will give you better value for money including, early check-in and late check-out; subject to hotel availability, VIP amenities in the room upon arrival as well as In-room breakfastĀ Ā (once per stay).

Thank you Meraki Sharm El Sheikh for making my birthday extra special. I look forward to returning to this resort in the future! The best money that I have ever spent on...

I WILL START BY SAYING DO NOT FOLLOW THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THIS PLATFORM, AS SOME PEOPLE ARE VERY HARD TO PLEASE.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Meraki Resort and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our experience from start to finish was truly fantastic, and I believe it’s only fair to give credit where it is most certainly due.

We visited during the fasting period, which can be understandably challenging for the staff. However, despite this, every member of the team remained kind, attentive, and remarkably professional throughout our stay. Their hospitality and work ethic were genuinely admirable and deserve to be recognised and praised.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home, which set the tone for our entire visit. The level of cleanliness in the resort was top-notch, the rooms, public areas, restaurants, and even the outdoor spaces were all immaculate. It’s clear that hygiene and guest comfort are a priority here.

A special thank you must go to Mr Lucas, the General Manager. His professionalism, strong leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills stood out immediately. He is someone who leads by example and knows how to manage both guests and staff with ease, ensuring the smooth running of the resort at all times.

Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The bed was especially cosy and ensured a good night’s sleep every night. Our room attendant, Yussef, was simply brilliant. He made sure our space was always clean, tidy and well-stocked. Similarly, Hossein and Hossam were extremely helpful and courteous, nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

Another standout was Yassef, one of the waiters, who was always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be of service. His smile and positive attitude added a lovely touch to our dining experiences. Speaking of dining, the food was absolutely amazing! Every restaurant on site delivered delicious meals, with generous portions and a wide variety of options. Whether you arrive late, fancy a midnight snack, or come back from a night out at the club, there’s always something tasty and satisfying available.

One thing we particularly appreciated is that food and drinks, including alcohol, are available 24/7 and are all-inclusive. While not serve as a traditional buffet, you are still free to eat as much as you like, which is perfect for those with hearty appetites. Our mini fridge was also kept well-stocked, which was a lovely touch.

Entertainment and activities are plentiful at Meraki Resort. There’s always something going on, whether you’re looking to relax, socialise, or get active. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, making it suitable for various types of travellers.

The Wi-Fi is available across the entire resort, which was very convenient, though signal strength could occasionally drop in certain areas, but nothing that truly disrupted our stay.

The TV in our room wasn’t smart, but it did offer a wide range of channels to enjoy during our stay. Given how enjoyable everything else was, this didn’t bother us in the slightest.

Another big plus is the location, the resort is very close to the airport, which makes travel super convenient without compromising on the peacefulness and luxury of the surroundings.

All in all, we were beyond impressed. Meraki Resort offers a rare balance of comfort, service, entertainment, and value. The team here works tirelessly to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience, and it shows.

We will absolutely be returning, and we encourage others to visit with an open mind and a kind heart. This place truly deserves appreciation.

Thank you to everyone at Meraki Resort, you made our holiday one...

I have just enjoyed an excellent weeks stay at the Meraki Resort. From the moment you arrive into the beautiful white reception, which it is always a lovely cooled air conditioned environment and receive a welcoming drink while you are checked by staff who are so friendly and welcoming. Golf buggies are used to whisk you down to your room. We had been allocated a garden room on the ground floor which was perfect for us as we are a couple in our ā€˜60’s and it led straight into the immaculately kept gardens and grounds to one of the 2 main pools. ( many suites have their own infinity pools). Our room 7104 was like the other’s spotlessly clean with a super king mattress, great lighting with a bathroom with rainfall shower and all the amenities and complementary items, including a mini bar which was restocked daily and unlike other hotels water, water everywhere! In the form of bottled water both chilled and room temperature. Our room was cleaned and prepared daily by Mahmoud one of the many stars at this hotel who actually made our holiday so special.

The restaurants (Italian, Greek, Egyptian, international etc) serve high quality food and drinks which you our free you use but you really need to book using the app which is a doddle and all restaurants have their own QR code which can be scanned with any phone to bring up the menu for that particular restaurant. Again I can’t stress highly enough how friendly, helpful and welcoming you our made to feel by all the staff in any part of the hotel.

We enjoyed using the top pool and were looked after especially well by Ahmed who manages the Euphoria Pool Bar and his colleague Seif. The life guards Ali & Ali (yes both have the same names) both gave us exceptional high level of service and attention’s.

The hotel entertainment team were very good and provided games, activities and evening shows but importantly if you didn’t want to get involved with foam parties etc no problem. Evening shows were held on a large outdoor stage and were very professional. Around this area are a cluster of boutique shops. Incidentally the neighbouring hotel White Hills is also owned by the same company and has a bank of Egypt cash machine in their lobby which you are free to use.

Other great things: live music during breakfast, violin one day guitar another. The Spa, both Joanne my wife and I had a pedicure in top nosh faculties and later in the week Joanne had a massage.

The snorkelling which we enjoyed daily sometimes twice was sensational and the sea lovely and warm in fact warmer than the swimming pools and seeing lots of fish on the reefs, again you look round as see that the Meraki has the largest and most robust walkway to the reefs with 3 sets of steps running into the sea. Again there are sunbeds and towels and drinks and food available in the beach area but to be honest we stay mostly around the pool as we were so spoilt.

My conclusion is this is and excellent Adults only Hotel taken to another level by the Staff who work very long hours. A few little tips at the beginning of your holiday go a long way but there is no need and you are not expected to but to me personally a high level of service is always recognised.

Thank you Meraki! We will be back and bringing friends to enjoy...

Whatever I say for Meraki will not be enough but I really want to start from all the employees in the resort and my Big thank you to all of them. From the moment we stepped in every single one of them is been always smiling, really kind and helpful in every moment that you need. Starting from the cleaners that was organising our room every day making it like we just arrived to the cleaners and gardener’s outside who are keeping this place spotless and extremely clean. We came for my friend birthday and they make it sure it will be unforgettable one. From the table in the greek restaurant Yades special thank to Mohammed the blond server that was expecting us with table with cocktails to the whole staff coming with a cake and candles singing Happy Birthday. Later on going back to our room we found another cake compliment from the hotel. Also the thing that impressed us the most was that every morning and later on on the beach the manager and his assistant are going to every single guest to ask if they need something, if there’s some recommendations that we want to add, do we have any questions. I was ask if the Wi fi is fast enough and I shared that sometimes during our walk I need to turned off and on because probably it’s in different areas and he said to his assistant to call the IT immediately. At the moment I was thinking they are just really kind and I don’t think they can actually do anything about it… surprisingly a couple of hours later I never had this problem again. For my recommendation I told them that the prosecco wasn’t sparkling enough but again I wasn’t complaining. The manager told me that he apologise and will send a bottle of champagne in our room. We got not only that but a big plater of fruits, macaroons chocolate and nuts. Me and my friend was totally shocked… I’m travel from many years and I’ve been all around the world but never experienced such a thing. I want to say big thank you to mr. Khaled because for this attention I’ll will definitely come back with many friends next time. And I am a person who doesn’t travel the same destinations and absolutely never the same hotels. I always like to explore. We were also invited in their special restaurant which is only for VIP guests UTOPIA. The manager Mohammed and the chef Mustafa were so welcoming and made our night exceptional. The food there and in every single restaurant was absolutely delicious, really high quality, really fresh and beautifully presented. I almost forget to mention the animators who had different programs from morning till late night. From yoga, stretching at the beach to games and dance parties and clubs from late afternoon till late night! They keep you entertained and busy… you can’t get bored here. This resort is the most beautiful, clean, high level experience that I’ve ever had and I really truly want to thank every single one of them. Whoever thinking to come here … it’s the best decision and the best vacation you’ll ever have. Thank you Meraki Kind Regards Desislava Borisova

Good afternoon, My name is Dan, and together with my wife I had the pleasure of visiting your hotel, Meraki Sharm El Sheikh, during the period 13–20 September. We were very impressed with your hotel – it is beautifully designed, very Instagrammable and futuristic. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and the sea view was truly wonderful, allowing us to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. We also greatly appreciated the view of the coral reef, which was very pleasant and interesting. For all of this, we sincerely thank you. However, unfortunately, there were also some aspects that did not meet our expectations and changed our overall impression of your hotel: 1. The cleanliness and furniture in the room were not up to standard, especially the bathroom, which was very worn out. 2. The variety of the menu was limited, which quickly became repetitive and tiring. 3. I was very disappointed with the desserts. I especially love baklava, but when I asked for it, I was often told it was not available. Out of all the days of our stay, I was only able to enjoy this dessert twice, which left me quite frustrated, as I do not usually eat other sweets. 4. The alcoholic beverages were of poor quality, which prevented us from fully enjoying the evening entertainment. 5. The club music was extremely disappointing. We came to your hotel expecting a vacation full of energy and nightlife entertainment, but this was not the case. The music was of low quality because no professional DJ was hired, and it stopped as early as 22:30. This does not seem fair, especially considering your 16+ concept. We left our children at home in order to come and enjoy fun and entertainment, but this expectation was not met. 6. On the third day of our stay, we were again disappointed by the service at Basilic Restaurant. We ordered three portions of eggs benedict and two glasses of fresh mango juice, but we waited for one hour. The staff kept telling us that the chef was very busy and asked us to wait another 5–10 minutes. 7. I also felt quite upset and disappointed when I ordered Desperados beer, which I really enjoy, as it was often unavailable. The staff told me several times that I would need to wait about two hours until they could bring more from the storage. This issue happened at many bars and restaurants, as the beer was often out of stock. Despite these shortcomings, we sincerely appreciate the positive aspects of your hotel, and we hope that our feedback will help you improve the guest experience in the future. Kind regards, Morari Dan

My experience at Meraki Resort was extremely positive. The property is beautifully maintained and very well cared for. The only thing I would have changed regarding the interior design is the flooring in the rooms: it's made of resin, which tends to get damaged easily and can appear dirty. Personally, I would have preferred tiles with proper skirting boards. That said, the resort is spacious, with two swimming pools - one quieter and more relaxing, and the other more lively with music and a party atmosphere. There's also a small beach: not big, but very charming and well-kept. There are several restaurants to choose from, all nicely designed and well maintained. As for the food, even though it's Ć  la carte, it's nothing extraordinary. It feels like typical buffet food presented as "Ć  la carte" and decorated nicely. But for what you pay, it's more than fair. One thing to keep in mind when traveling to Egypt is: don't compare the food to Italy — that's a mistake. I've been to Egypt four times, and I can confidently say this is the resort where l've eaten the best. The staff were fantastic. With very few exceptions, everyone was friendly, smiling, and ready to help. Before my arrival, I was even contacted on WhatsApp by a manager who offered assistance throughout my stay. Housekeeping was also great - very attentive and polite. Wi-Fi was very good, but the app used to connect was frustrating: it kept logging me out, and I had to scan the printed QR code over and over again. All in all, my stay at Meraki was excellent. Special thanks to Mohamed the manager that texted me through Whatsapp, waiters Yasser and Mosser and few other I don't remember names, the two super smiling and kind Ali at the pools, and Mohamed, the bartender at the quiet pool — you all guys made the experience even better. Aside from the resin flooring in the rooms and the app constantly logging me out, another clear downside is definitely the animation. It was almost non-existent. There were a few shy Russian girls trying to engage the guests, but with poor results. Overall, no real entertainment was organized. Honestly, I'd recommend removing it if it stays this weak.
