Excellent restaurant.

The pros

Good service from Mr. Isayed. He was welcoming and helpful to any questions and queries we had. (We were a group of 6)

Two vegaterians in our group - ordered a mix of 5 items and they were good.

A decent view from the outside seating of the fountain show.

Meat dishes were all good. Not the most memorable, but still very good.

Good pricing

Cons.

One of us got fries instead of rice. The replacement was completely forgotten so we cancelled it eventually. I recommend double checking your order after placing it. We did get a free rice pudding tho complimentary for the problems faced.

Many mosquitoes. I recommend insect repellent.

conclusion

I would recommended it. However, wouldn't visit twice when there are other choices available. The final act of generosity was what made me rate the restaurant a 4 star. Otherwise would have given it a 3...

As I was recommended to try it I was shocked, since the food is poorly served. I ordered selection platter. Basically they sever 1 small tsp of 3 dippings. 1/2 grilled chicken served extremely stiff burned smaller than the palm of your hand. Chicken shawerma platter safe to say Only the fries was bearable. The pick of it was that I made a wrong decision asking for some grilled viggies, which was the norm to be served aside of the grilled chicken. I was surprised that the Chef served me an unpeeled burned Onion means that the food NEVER BEEN WASHED. We asked for the receipt and left. My stomach ached and I through out all. Bottom line NOT...

Ate here all 4 nights of my stay in Sharm El Sheikh! Cafe Chino is by far the best value food in Soho Square (others overpriced and questionable food, e.g. Fusion Seafood's fish on display is so unfresh that the eyes are all sunken deep). Very tasty Lebanese style food. I especially loved the Mixed Grill, but the mezzes were also very fresh and tasty. Savoy Hotel guests get 25% off so the final bill always ended up less than the menu price even with the added tax. The waiters here are also really friendly.
