We spent about 10 days here. The whole vacation was filled with problems:| 1. The rooms are ugly; the photos on the travel agency websites show luxury rooms, but in reality, it’s a total countryside cheap look.| 2. Many guests complained about broken air conditioners and no fridges. This didn’t affect us, but if you leave the bathroom door open, the whole room reeks of sewage.| 3. Huge issues with cleaning. In short, the cleaning is poor quality — dust and clumps on the floor weren’t cleaned even after we requested it at reception. Since the staff has no vacuum cleaner, they just smear the dirt around with rags.| 4. THE STAFF IS A DISASTER. At check-in, the reception explained nothing, shoved the bracelets into our hands (didn’t even fasten them), and generally acted with a vibe of “we’re busy, go away already.” At reception, there’s an employee named Mustafa (if I’m not mistaken — here’s the description: works only in the evenings, around 40+ years old, speaks Russian fluently). He’s the pinnacle of a person who absolutely hates guests and people in general. When we were late by 30 minutes for our (paid) late checkout — I’ll explain the reasons later — Mr. Mustafa sent a cleaner to remind us to leave, and meanwhile kept calling the room phone and yelling at me (no hello or goodbye) “come on, come on.” When returning the key card, he SCOLDED me :))) Given all the vacation troubles, I tried to smooth things over for myself and asked for a discount on the late checkout service (since it costs $40 for two — crazy, right?). After getting a 50% discount, they asked me to leave a good review. When I went to the girl responsible for guest feedback, I told her about all the problems, and she basically reminded me that this is the cheapest hotel on the coast. Come on! Since when does cheapness justify such rudeness? (I don’t agree; I paid 140,000 rubles for the trip!)|The girl offered me to visit the restaurant at 7 p.m., and I agreed. She also informed me that the hotel is trying to restore its former five-star glory. So I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but sorry — the last day just boiled me over.|We came to the restaurant not at 7, but at 7:30. Why? Because we were busy arguing with Mustafa at reception, and also because every day I was cleaning up plastic waste from the hotel’s beach area that was ending up in the sea. They only clean the area where most tourists are; where there are fewer, either there’s no cleaning or it’s poorly done.|So, arriving late at the restaurant (and yes, I don’t see anything wrong with that — I’m on vacation, I’m chilling), I politely informed the waiter in English that we had booked a table under such-and-such a name. The older waiter replied to me in Russian, “What time is it?” — “7:30” — “Well, then leave, we take guests at 7.” The tone was, to put it mildly, unpleasant.| 5. As for the food — there were issues. Even Better the Second Time!

I visited Siva Sharm Resort again this summer, and it’s still just as amazing — if not better. What truly stood out this time was the incredible friendliness and generosity of the staff. From reception to the pool bar, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for.

The location remains super convenient — just minutes from the airport — yet the resort is peaceful and relaxing. The diving center, pools, and spa are still top-notch, and the all-inclusive food and drinks never disappoint.

It’s rare to find a place that keeps up such high standards, but Siva Sharm does it effortlessly. Can’t wait to come back again!

Complaint Regarding Siva Sharm Hotel and Resort – Sharm El Sheikh To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally submit a complaint about my recent stay at Siva Sharm Hotel and Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. My experience at this property was extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable hospitality standards. I would like to highlight the following serious issues: • Complete lack of respect and professionalism from all hotel staff. • No housekeeping staff were available during my stay. • None of the hotel’s services were functioning properly, except for the beach and swimming pool. • All hotel furniture is old, damaged, worn-out, torn, and emits an unpleasant odor. • The floors, corridors, and rooms were consistently dirty. • Dirty dishes and trays were left in the corridors despite claims that cleaning staff are available 24/7. • All beds in the rooms are in urgent need of repair or replacement. • The bathrooms emit strong, unpleasant odors and require full maintenance. • The hotel elevators are old, damaged, and have a foul smell. • The restaurant is unhygienic and poorly maintained, with worn-out furniture. • Restaurant staff do not wear clean uniforms, gloves, or proper head coverings. • There was insufficient food during the scheduled meal times (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), even though my booking included three meals a day plus snacks. Snacks were not available at all, and the restaurant remained closed outside of the main meal times. • Hotel staff dealt with guests in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner. Many of them even requested tips or financial help in return for basic services. • The beds in the rooms were torn, uncomfortable, and contained sharp metal parts inside that cut my son while he was laying in bed, and the bed was breaking off from how old it is. • Staff members were frequently disrespectful to one another in front of guests. • Theres also no working wifi in the rooms or reception, it only works in the restaurant • the elevator wasn’t working properly, if you click the button for a certain floor, it brings you to another floor and its very slow and the some of the buttons dont work. Its also very old and dirty. I strongly do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The current condition of the property is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected from a resort in a prime tourist destination. I urge the Ministry of Tourism and all relevant authorities to re-evaluate the classification of this hotel and conduct a thorough inspection. A complete change in hotel management is also necessary to bring the property up to acceptable hospitality standards.

Впечатления от отеля «Siva Sharm Resort & Spa» В начале сентября 2020 года. Отзыв 1 Отель бюджетный, соотношение цены и качества прямо пропорциональны. Стоймость тура от Join up на двоих составила 700$ на 7 дней. Отель построен по писку моды начала 2000-х ( на тот момент отель был супер Luxury). Сейчас отель ещё держится на плаву, но это ему даётся с трудом - у всего есть свой ресурс. По состоянию на сейчас отель вполне приемлемый за свою цену. Просторный и светлый лобби, хорошее остекление, удобные обновлённые, чистые и не затёртые диваны с креслами. Здание отеля весьма широкое и растянуто по береговой линии, состоит из двух «крыльев» и имеет 8 этажей, по факту используется 7. Расположены они (этажи) таким образом,что от дороги с центрального входа, где находится ресепшн и основной ресторан (по-нашему- столовая) считается этажем 7 (как бы нулевой), а остальные этажи, направленные вниз с 6-го по 1-й и заняты жилыми номерами, таким образом, что первый этаж ближе всего к морю и выходит прямо к бассейну. Есть лифт. Коридоры на этажах действительно темноваты, но какая вам разница?! Вы что будете в коридорах тусить, как зимой с пацанами на «падике»? Конечно же, нет. Номера - ВАЖНАЯ ИНФОРМАЦИЯ: у отеля 90% номеров с видом на море, они расположены с 6-го по 2-ой этажи, остальные 10% номеров, которые БЕЗ ВИДА НА МОРЕ это - первый этаж, потому что из него чисто физически не видно моря, а балкончики и окна выходят к бассейну и на прохожую часть, следовательно все, кто проходит мимо или же купаются, так и норовят заглядывать в эти номера. Убранство НОМЕРОВ стандартное: кровати, тумбочки, стол, стулья, пуф, зеркало, холодильник сейф. Сантехника уставшая, подтекала. Я сам починил текущий бачок и пробил вилкой засор раковины. Скидку мне за это ,конечно же, не дали. Многие жалуются, что НЕТ ЁРШИКА в туалете. Люди, мы не шарим - это не минус это ТАКОЙ БОНУС - СЕРВИС, суть в том, что Вы полностью расслабляетесь на отдыхе и не о чём не паритесь и в том числе о чистоте унитаза, не соприкасаетесь с нечистотами, а приходит уборщик со своим ёршиком и вытирает унитаз за Вас – Это Сервис. Ну, а пока уборщик не придёт дефекалируйте аккуратней)))))) Кстати, насчёт уборки, тут как повезёт с уборщиком, за мой заезд у уборщиков была пересменка и была возможность сравнить их работу: Первый убирал так себе (без энтузиазма от слова вообще «без» - чувак просто приходил, включал телек и смотрел сериал сидя под кондиционером, а когда я неожиданно для него(уборщика) заходил в номер, он резко подрывался и начинал гладить, не заправлять, а именно гладить кровать ладошками). Второй уборщик старался больше, даже дал дополнительный шампунь и рулончик туалетной бумаги. Территория отеля когда-то была зелёной, но на момент моего пребывания пожелтели газоны, скорее всего в карантин плохо поливали. Но если за них возьмутся, то будет красиво. Много пальм и фиников падающих с них. Зёлёные арочки из кустиков и красно белые цветочки для инсты в изобилии. Еда Блюда в основном одни и те же, но мне всё понравилось. Готовили вкусно, кухня отработала на 5-рочку. Персонал столовой стараются. Голодными Вы не будете. Даже не смотря на то, что из-за COVIDных ограничений еду Вы берёте не сами, а её насыпают повара, голодными вы не будете, на просьбу добавить ещё еды никто не отказывал. Завтраки континентальные (сосиски бумажные), яичная болтаночка поджаренная, хлопья, йогурты, салаты, булочки, коржики. Не оставляйте еду без присмотра на открытой терассе - её заберёт стая воробьёв и сожрёт. Особенно они любят яичницу. Берегите свою еду. На обед, ужин мясных блюд 2 – 3 (телятина с подливой, курица кусками (просто порубили и пожарили), аля-буженина поштучно, также попадались четвертинки перепелов и мой фаворит: (давали только 2 раза) бараньи котлетки. Активно используются поварами овощи, их много и в разных видах. Морепродуктов НЕТ, но был два раза суп с морепродуктами, где плавал кусочек рыбного филе. Рыба есть… скумбрия…жареная. Complaint Regarding Siva Sharm Hotel and Resort – Sharm El Sheikh To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally submit a complaint about my recent stay at Siva Sharm Hotel and Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. My experience at this property was extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable hospitality standards. I would like to highlight the following serious issues: • Complete lack of respect and professionalism from all hotel staff. • No housekeeping staff were available during my stay. • None of the hotel’s services were functioning properly, except for the beach and swimming pool. • All hotel furniture is old, damaged, worn-out, torn, and emits an unpleasant odor. • The floors, corridors, and rooms were consistently dirty. • Dirty dishes and trays were left in the corridors despite claims that cleaning staff are available 24/7. • All beds in the rooms are in urgent need of repair or replacement. • The bathrooms emit strong, unpleasant odors and require full maintenance. • The hotel elevators are old, damaged, and have a foul smell. • The restaurant is unhygienic and poorly maintained, with worn-out furniture. • Restaurant staff do not wear clean uniforms, gloves, or proper head coverings. • There was insufficient food during the scheduled meal times (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), even though my booking included three meals a day plus snacks. Snacks were not available at all, and the restaurant remained closed outside of the main meal times. • Hotel staff dealt with guests in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner. Many of them even requested tips or financial help in return for basic services. • The beds in the rooms were torn, uncomfortable, and contained sharp metal parts inside that cut my son while he was laying in bed, and the bed was breaking off from how old it is. • Staff members were frequently disrespectful to one another in front of guests. • Theres also no working wifi in the rooms or reception, it only works in the restaurant • the elevator wasn’t working properly, if you click the button for a certain floor, it brings you to another floor and its very slow and the some of the buttons dont work. Its also very old and dirty. I strongly do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The current condition of the property is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected from a resort in a prime tourist destination. I urge the Ministry of Tourism and all relevant authorities to re-evaluate the classification of this hotel and conduct a thorough inspection. A complete change in hotel management is also necessary to bring the property up to acceptable hospitality standards.

Впечатления от отеля «Siva Sharm Resort & Spa» В начале сентября 2020 года. Отзыв 1 Отель бюджетный, соотношение цены и качества прямо пропорциональны. Стоймость тура от Join up на двоих составила 700$ на 7 дней. Отель построен по писку моды начала 2000-х ( на тот момент отель был супер Luxury). Сейчас отель ещё держится на плаву, но это ему даётся с трудом - у всего есть свой ресурс. По состоянию на сейчас отель вполне приемлемый за свою цену. Просторный и светлый лобби, хорошее остекление, удобные обновлённые, чистые и не затёртые диваны с креслами. Здание отеля весьма широкое и растянуто по береговой линии, состоит из двух «крыльев» и имеет 8 этажей, по факту используется 7. Расположены они (этажи) таким образом,что от дороги с центрального входа, где находится ресепшн и основной ресторан (по-нашему- столовая) считается этажем 7 (как бы нулевой), а остальные этажи, направленные вниз с 6-го по 1-й и заняты жилыми номерами, таким образом, что первый этаж ближе всего к морю и выходит прямо к бассейну. Есть лифт. Коридоры на этажах действительно темноваты, но какая вам разница?! Вы что будете в коридорах тусить, как зимой с пацанами на «падике»? Конечно же, нет. Номера - ВАЖНАЯ ИНФОРМАЦИЯ: у отеля 90% номеров с видом на море, они расположены с 6-го по 2-ой этажи, остальные 10% номеров, которые БЕЗ ВИДА НА МОРЕ это - первый этаж, потому что из него чисто физически не видно моря, а балкончики и окна выходят к бассейну и на прохожую часть, следовательно все, кто проходит мимо или же купаются, так и норовят заглядывать в эти номера. Убранство НОМЕРОВ стандартное: кровати, тумбочки, стол, стулья, пуф, зеркало, холодильник сейф. Сантехника уставшая, подтекала. Я сам починил текущий бачок и пробил вилкой засор раковины. Скидку мне за это ,конечно же, не дали. Многие жалуются, что НЕТ ЁРШИКА в туалете. Люди, мы не шарим - это не минус это ТАКОЙ БОНУС - СЕРВИС, суть в том, что Вы полностью расслабляетесь на отдыхе и не о чём не паритесь и в том числе о чистоте унитаза, не соприкасаетесь с нечистотами, а приходит уборщик со своим ёршиком и вытирает унитаз за Вас – Это Сервис. Ну, а пока уборщик не придёт дефекалируйте аккуратней)))))) Кстати, насчёт уборки, тут как повезёт с уборщиком, за мой заезд у уборщиков была пересменка и была возможность сравнить их работу: Первый убирал так себе (без энтузиазма от слова вообще «без» - чувак просто приходил, включал телек и смотрел сериал сидя под кондиционером, а когда я неожиданно для него(уборщика) заходил в номер, он резко подрывался и начинал гладить, не заправлять, а именно гладить кровать ладошками). Второй уборщик старался больше, даже дал дополнительный шампунь и рулончик туалетной бумаги. Территория отеля когда-то была зелёной, но на момент моего пребывания пожелтели газоны, скорее всего в карантин плохо поливали. Но если за них возьмутся, то будет красиво. Много пальм и фиников падающих с них. Зёлёные арочки из кустиков и красно белые цветочки для инсты в изобилии. Еда Блюда в основном одни и те же, но мне всё понравилось. Готовили вкусно, кухня отработала на 5-рочку. Персонал столовой стараются. Голодными Вы не будете. Даже не смотря на то, что из-за COVIDных ограничений еду Вы берёте не сами, а её насыпают повара, голодными вы не будете, на просьбу добавить ещё еды никто не отказывал. Завтраки континентальные (сосиски бумажные), яичная болтаночка поджаренная, хлопья, йогурты, салаты, булочки, коржики. Не оставляйте еду без присмотра на открытой терассе - её заберёт стая воробьёв и сожрёт. Особенно они любят яичницу. Берегите свою еду. На обед, ужин мясных блюд 2 – 3 (телятина с подливой, курица кусками (просто порубили и пожарили), аля-буженина поштучно, также попадались четвертинки перепелов и мой фаворит: (давали только 2 раза) бараньи котлетки. Активно используются поварами овощи, их много и в разных видах. Морепродуктов НЕТ, но был два раза суп с морепродуктами, где плавал кусочек рыбного филе. Рыба есть… скумбрия…жареная. Ее даже не брал, а вот какое-то рыбное филе очень вкусное было.... Продолжение в отзыве на Siva Sharm Resort AND Spa
