My partner and I have just returned from a two-week stay at White Hills Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. While we had a lovely time overall—thanks to the weather, the views, and a few exceptional staff—we wouldn’t return. Here’s our honest review: 🌟 Highlights Swim-Up Room: A real luxury. Relaxing in the sun with direct pool access from our room was a brilliant experience. Karim at the Oasis Pool: Karim truly made our holiday. Always kind, proactive, and professional—he helped with umbrellas, towels, sunbeds, and even made flower-decorated towel art. He was one of the few who treated both me and my girlfriend with equal warmth, which many staff did not even acknowledge my girlfriend. He also took pride in keeping the area spotless—skimming the pool and scrubbing steps himself. The Two Mohammeds at the Pool Bar: Friendly and attentive—often bringing drinks over before we even asked. One was moved to the Posh Club later in our stay, and we really missed him! Weather & Location: Perfect sunshine daily with a cool breeze. Sea views were stunning. Air Conditioning: Very effective and much needed. 👎🏼 Areas for Improvement Food Quality & Variety: • À la carte food was similar to the buffet—mostly pasta, rice, burgers and grilled meat, lacking variety or luxury. • Menus weren’t consistent (e.g. pizza missing sauce, steak missing sides) and à la cartes alternated nights, making “unlimited access” misleading. • Breakfast could use a smoothie or juice bar, especially with so much fresh fruit. • Healthy options were very limited, which my girlfriend struggled with. Pool Maintenance: All the pools were visibly peeling. It looked tired and not 5-star. This should’ve been addressed before peak season. Soundproofing: Our room had a Jack and Jill door—we could hear everything next door, including 2–3am drunken returns. Poor soundproofing disrupted our sleep more than once. Beach Access: You can’t walk along the beach due to each hotel owning a section. Not the hotel’s fault, but worth knowing. Customer Relations: They rang our room every day, which got annoying. The problems we had (e.g. pool condition, food quality) couldn’t be fixed mid-stay, so we didn’t report them. They’re not going to reline pools or redesign menus during peak season—these are bigger issues that need addressing before guests arrive. Staff Conditions: We learned from our quad biking guide that many staff work long days with no time off for as little as £4–£5 a day. While the staff were friendly and hardworking, it was hard to enjoy ourselves knowing how poorly they’re treated. It feels exploitative. Drinks & Inclusions: Only one sugar-free soft drink was available, and it had caffeine—not great if you’re pregnant. Imported alcohol was only included at one bar (Cohiba), and only at specific times. Elsewhere, you had to pay extra—even though it’s marketed as “all-inclusive.” Hygiene: Despite drinking and brushing teeth only with bottled water, both my girlfriend and I got diarrhoea. There’s clearly a food hygiene or contamination issue somewhere. Entertainment: Loud and tacky. Thankfully, our room was far away, but we could still hear it during the day and late into the night. The vibe seemed aimed at partygoers. We struggled to relax or sleep. Smoking Policy: Smoking is allowed in outdoor restaurant areas. We often had to sit indoors to avoid smoke, which felt unfair—especially when wanting to enjoy the view. 🧾 Final Verdict: We had a good time overall, especially thanks to Karim and the weather. But this resort isn’t 5-star. Too many areas fell short—food, maintenance, noise, and service quality. Ethical concerns around staff treatment were also hard to ignore. There’s potential here, but unless big changes are made, we won’t return

I can’t believe this hotel opened in 2022 — it feels like a property used for over 10 years without proper maintenance. Everything about White Hills looks great online, but the reality is a massive disappointment. Amenities (6/10) The hotel is poorly finished, with cheap materials everywhere. The reception area looks dull and lifeless — sofas are stained, and the overall design feels cheap. The adult pool areas have peeling, rusty floors, and the swim-up rooms look old and neglected. Inside, the plants are half-dead, with no decoration or artwork anywhere. The only saving grace is the sea view, but even that can’t hide how poorly this place is built and maintained. Staff and Hospitality (2/10) The staff work hard but have zero training or hospitality skills. Their approach to Arab guests feels like a street café, not a 5-star resort. Instead of proper greetings like “Sir” or “يا فندم”, they shout slang like “يا باشا، يا معلم، يا كبير” — and even “يا حبايبي !!!” It honestly felt like being at عربية كبدة or محل كشري. The real issue was the rude receptionist (Mohamed) whose behavior was shockingly unprofessional, and his arrogance ruined the entire stay. Rooms (3/10) The rooms are a disaster. Blocked sinks, sewer smells, rough bedding, and no sound insulation. The materials feel cheap and used, nowhere near 5-star quality. Even after changing rooms, the bad smell and poor comfort remained. The furniture, finishing, and bedding wouldn’t pass for a 3-star hotel, let alone a resort. Food (5/10) The buffet looks big, but most dishes taste bad. The hotel focuses on quantity, not quality. Desserts were terrible (1/10) except for the oriental sweets. The Italian restaurant by the beach was the only decent meal. Generous portions don’t make up for poor taste. Room Changing Incident: The worst part of my stay was the reception disaster. Mohamed (the receptionist with glasses) welcomed us coldly, took our passports, and made us wait for hours. He promised to call when the room was ready — then never did. The next day, he promised a room by 1 p.m. We packed and waited over an hour and a half, only to be told the room was given away. After several unanswered calls, I went to reception myself. Mohamed sent another staff member, (Bika), who arrogantly said: "والله احنا نسكن الغرفة بمزاجنا!" (“We assign rooms whenever we feel like it!”) When I confronted Mohamed and asked, “Am I a joke to you?” he replied rudely: "وانا هاهزر معاك ليه!" (“Why would I joke with you?!”) His attitude was hostile, as if ready to fight, while supervisors stood watching. Only after I demanded to see the manager did someone appear, repeating “we apologize” over and over before handing me another room. Later, they sent a plate of fruit as an apology — in an all-inclusive hotel! How ridiculous is that? Sending fruit instead of a proper apology after ruining a guest’s day shows how disconnected the management is from hospitality standards. Conclusion (Overall: 4/10) White Hills completely failed to deliver on its promise of a 5-star experience. The poor rooms, cheap materials, untrained staff, and rude reception behavior turned what should’ve been a relaxing holiday into a frustrating one. The location and sea might be beautiful, but the hotel’s management, training, and professionalism are nonexistent. Tip for future travelers: The sea and diving area are worth seeing, but don’t let the views mislead your expectations about the hotel itself. Final Ratings: Amenities: 6/10 Staff & Hospitality: 2/10 Rooms: 3/10 Food: 5/10 Overall Experience: 4/10

White Hills Hotel – Posh Club Review We have just returned from an unforgettable stay at White Hills Hotel - Posh Club and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning all-white architecture, modern lighting, lush greenery, and secure, welcoming environment. We are a well-traveled couple who always seek the highest-end holidays, and I am particularly hard to please — yet the Posh Club experience exceeded every expectation. Our room was spacious, airy, and beautifully designed with luxury in mind. The open-plan layout, double vanity, ambient LED lighting, and direct access to our private swim-out pool made it a perfect retreat, complete with breathtaking sea views. The food and drink experience was exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Isaac Hosni, our dining attendant, and Chef Mohamed Adel went above and beyond, creating unforgettable meals and even preparing thoughtful treats for our flight. Service throughout the Posh Club was extraordinary. Hazim (night-time PA), Nourhane (daytime PA), Mahmoud (the kindest and most polite barman), Ahmed Maher, Mohamed Salam, Hossam Nasser, and many others ensured every need was met immediately and with genuine care. The staff had an incredible sense of when to engage and when to give privacy, creating the perfect balance. The Posh Club area itself is calm, exclusive, and sophisticated. The pools, private beach, and nearby coral reef were stunning and never overcrowded. Background music and live performances added to the serene, indulgent atmosphere. Our return transport to the airport, arranged by the hotel, was luxurious, safe, and perfectly handled, providing a relaxed and comfortable end to an outstanding holiday. There were minor aesthetic issues — silicone joints around vanity unit, grouting in the room, a small worn section on the pool floor, and slight maintenance on the terrace — but these did not affect the overall experience. If you are considering the Posh Club, don’t hesitate. While we cannot comment on the main hotel, the Posh Club delivers the highest level of privacy, professionalism, and luxury. Every aspect of our stay was sensational, and we would return in a heartbeat. The Posh Club at White Hills Hotel is truly world-class and exceeded even our high expectations — a perfect luxury escape.

We have just returned from an absolutely unforgettable stay at White Hills Hotel - Posh Club - Swim Out Suite (room 38104) and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away. The hotel’s architecture is stunning — all-white, modern, beautifully lit, with lush greenery and an exceptionally secure environment. Even arriving late at night after a delayed flight, the elegance and grandeur of the property instantly made us feel at home.||We are a very well-traveled couple and always seek the very highest-end holiday experiences. I am particularly demanding and hard to please, yet every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We stayed exclusively in the Posh Club area, which felt like a hotel within a hotel — private, calm, and indulgent. Our room was nothing short of spectacular: spacious, airy, and meticulously designed with modern luxury in mind. The open-plan layout, large bed, double vanity, ambient LED lighting, and direct access to our private swim-out pool created a sense of elegance, comfort, and absolute relaxation. The morning sea view was breathtaking, and every detail of the room, from the lighting to the furnishings, contributed to a perfect retreat.||The food and drink experience in the Posh Club was world-class. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and prepared to the highest standards. The a la carte dining options provided both variety and excellence, with drinks and cocktails constantly available. Isaac Hosni, our dining attendant, was an absolute star — attentive, warm, and professional. Chef Mohamed Adel went above and beyond, crafting unforgettable meals and even preparing thoughtful treats for our flight.||The service throughout the Posh Club was exceptional. Hazim, our night-time PA, and Nourhane, our daytime PA, ensured that every need, however small, was met immediately with genuine care. Mahmoud, the Posh Club barman, is simply the kindest and most polite man on earth — he completely captured our hearts. Ahmed Maher, Mohamed Salam, Hossam Nasser, and many more members of the team made us feel like royalty at every turn. The staff had an extraordinary sense of when to engage and when to allow privacy, perfectly balancing attentive service with respect for our peace and relaxation.||The atmosphere in the Posh Club was calm, exclusive, and sophisticated. Background music and live performances created a serene, indulgent environment. The pools and private beach were stunning, immaculately maintained, and never overcrowded. The nearby coral reef offered incredible snorkelling opportunities, adding to the feeling of a truly luxurious and memorable escape.||Our return transport to the airport, arranged by the hotel, was another highlight. We were picked up in a luxurious, comfortable vehicle, and the driver’s professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness made us feel safe and completely relaxed. It genuinely felt like being chauffeured in style — the perfect end to an exceptional stay.||There were a few very minor aesthetic issues — the silicone joints around vanity unit, the grouting in the bathroom, a small worn section on the pool floor, and slight maintenance needed on the terrace — but these did not detract from our experience in any meaningful way. Had these small details been perfectly maintained, it would have been a perfect 10/10, but even as they were, the stay was sensational and entirely unforgettable.||If anyone is debating whether to book the Posh Club or the main hotel, we cannot comment on the main hotel as we did not stay there. All we can say is that the Posh Club experience is exceptional, and anyone choosing it can be assured of the highest levels of privacy, professionalism, luxury, and attentive service. It completely matched our desire for a calm, sophisticated, and indulgent environment.||In short, our stay exceeded our highest expectations. We felt genuinely valued, cared for, and utterly pampered. The Posh Club service is extraordinary, the surroundings spectacular, and the staff truly exceptional. Special thanks to Isaac Hosni, Chef Mohamed Adel, Hazim, Nourhane, Mahmoud, Ahmed Maher, Mohamed Salam, Hossam Nasser, and the countless other team members whose dedication, warmth, and professionalism made our stay unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat, and we wholeheartedly recommend the Posh Club at White Hills Hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious, serene, and meticulously...

TEN STARS FOR SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY First and foremost a huge thank you to Mr Salah, Mr Saaid, his restaurant team, the wonderful chefs and every single member of the Whitehills Resorts who go over and above in providing the highest levels of service. The rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. I am not going to mention any names as each and every single member of staff were absolutely fantastic, professional and friendly. Due to some issues we had when we first checked in, Mr Salah organized a room upgrade for us with a Jacuzzi, absolutely gorgeous. The sunbed in the balcony was fantastic as I could read out there at 3 am in the morning! Mr Saaid ensured that my dietary requirements were taken care of daily, arranging for us to meet the chef every morning to go through each days’ menu The A La Carte restaurants’ service was excellent and food was delicious Our favorite was the Asian and Indian restaurants. The chocolate section in the lobby area is a lovely touch and chocolate is absolutely scrummy. The restaurant team made my birthday celebrations absolutely amazing. Entertainment team were absolutely fantastic, friendly and professional, Sara and Rachel, keep doing what you do, we will miss your smiles….

Unfortunately the negatives are:

NO ADULT POOL! For us this was extremely disappointing. We missed the peaceful sunbathing and swimming. As we were staying at Whitehills the guys at the beach wouldn’t allow us to sunbathe in the adult area as they said that was for the hotel next door, yet this is the sister hotel! They were quite rude to me when I mentioned that the area was empty! Building works taking place for new pools outside the Buffett restaurant, whilst noise levels are to a minimum, it is disruptive, Mr Salah informed us it will all be finished by Monday No toilets near the Oasis pool, it is a long walk to either the Buffet restaurant toilets or to the Insula Pool toilets, when one is bursting, it just isn’t practical! If you have rooms at the far end of the resort it is an ache if you are up at the crack of dawn and want a coffee as it is a good 10 minute walk to the main lobby for a coffee. They do have buggies. But I never saw one when I needed it. I really did miss my 6 am coffee! There is no beach as such, as in that you can’t step into the ocean for a swim, there is a jetty where you can snorkel from, extremely busy! As for the beach area makes our underground seem like paradise! As being packed In like sardines is the phrase I would use for the beach area! The sun beds are practically on top of one another, not helped by smokers and lots of kids running around! During the day we just felt there was no escaping the noise and crowds. Whilst the rooms are ginormous and bright, there are extremely minimalist, no closed off wardrobes, unless you have an upgrade there is no drawer space as such for all your smalls. Sales teams from the spa, photography can be a real nuisance, we only discovered half way through our holiday about the RED flag which stops them harassing you! One guy in particular who sells massages just didn’t know how to take NO for an answer and was very pushy! Whilst the photo shoot is good it is far too expensive, so check and agree a fee before you get caught out as we did! It states only long trousers for men in the A La Carte yet we saw lots of men in shorts! Evening entertainment doesn’t start till after 9 pm Lastly no sparkling wine during the day anywhere! You can only get this is the main bar upstairs, this is such a shame The cocktails are absolutely awful, hardly any choice and taste very sugary and watery! Unfortunately the chefs cannot differentiate between vegetarians and vegans and kept giving me plant based burgers, meat free sausages and meatballs!! Absolutely gross, ok if you are a meat eater who has converted to being a vegan! On the whole white Hills resort is absolutely gorgeous and we would definitely come...

My partner and I have just returned from a two-week stay at White Hills Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. While we had a lovely time overall—thanks to the weather, the views, and a few exceptional staff—we wouldn’t return. Here’s our honest review:

🌟 Highlights Swim-Up Room: A real luxury. Relaxing in the sun with direct pool access from our room was a brilliant experience. Karim at the Oasis Pool: Karim truly made our holiday. Always kind, proactive, and professional—he helped with umbrellas, towels, sunbeds, and even made flower-decorated towel art.
