There were 4 of us, a family with 2 children aged 18 and 13, from which I am the older one and we absolutely loved this hotel.||||We were on a budget holiday and this hotel suited our needs and price range very well.||||The location is near to perfect, there's only about 500-700m to the beach - you can almost see it from the hotels terrace. The centrum of Pärnu isn't too far away either, especially if you rent a bike, about 2km.||||Reception of the hotel is very well designed, although it is a bit small. There were a few very comfortable couches for waiting, but due to the receptions small size, there were not enough seats for over 10 persons (of our travel companion). Behind the reception - which is opposite to the front door - is the bar/restaurant, where not only is breakfast served, but at evenings, it serves as a bar and there is (often) music playing on late evenings and people are dancing there. You can hear the music outside the hotel, but not into your room, so it's not a distraction.||||The rooms weren't very big either, as the hotel itself is quite small too, but still they were very idyllic and not too small. For me and my brother - especially my brother - a nice add was the TV. The TV was very small (and old), but the image was surprisingly good and there were some satellite channels - like Cartoon Network. Beds were comfy enough, as I remember. The room key had a big wooden fob, so it wasn't very easy to lose (and luckily I did not).||||As Finns, we were excited by the fact that the hotel has a pool and sauna.||The truth wasn't as simple as that, though... The pool was nowhere to be seen (unless it was the small "barrel" without any water in it, at the entrance, and the sauna had difficult opening times - and it would've been relatively expensive extra.||||The hotel also had a nice-looking barbershop/beauty salon near the reception, which you could order some treatments to. I didn't see the prices, but I doubt it was very expensive. The salon was not open, unless there were treatments going on, so the reservations were to be made at the reception - naturally.||||There were two terraces, I remember, which had quite a nice view, although the building is not very high, but they were very dismal compared to what they could've been a little refining. There were only a couple of weak plastic chairs (which obviously were not meant for heavier people to sit on) and the smell was a combination of cigarettes and sewer... On top of that, the upper terrace was under the hotels logo, which seemed to have caught on fire sometime, as it was half-burned. This didn't give a very nice touch to the pleasant terrace-experience it could've been - no wonder there were no one else. There could've at least been a few sofas.||||Overall, I really liked this hotel, for the price that it was, and recommend it for any not-so-demanding...
Read moreWe had very high expectations when visiting, since it was supposed to be a “high tech” hotel with self check-in, we were very surprised to see that the parking is absolutely awful, the entrance or like “reception” area is very pretty and cozy but the moment you get to the room itself, things start to fall apart (quite literally). Our room did not have any A/C which is fine during the colder period but I wouldn’t want to be there in the summer when its 30 degrees outside. The room itself was very small and cramped and one of the wall lights by the bed was actually just barely holding on and flickered, actually thought that if we turn it on, it would start a fire. All in all the location is very good (if you get a room in the actual hotel and not somewhere random in the city) but the room for us felt like being in an hospital room so we just decided to leave and not even spend the night there. The good thing is that it’s quite cheap so...
Read moreLet's start with the good things. The location of the hotel is quite good, it is very close to the sea and a 4-5 minute ride with a taxi to the centre of the city. The streets near the hotel are very quiet so there is no loud noise during the night. Also, there is a waterpark right accross the street that we visited and it was very nice. The breakfast is ok, considering that it is not a 5 star hotel, each of our group found something to have for breakfast. The staff of the hotel was also very nice and helpful, they ordered taxis for us and gave us some tips for the New Year's eve, where to go etc.||However, the rooms themselves are veeeeery small. We had an additional third bed in the room and it was so packed, there was no place for our suitcases. Also, the walls between the hotel rooms are quite thin, so do not be surprised if you hear your neighbour snoring during the night. ||But overall it is an ok budget...
