Kurgo Villa Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Pärnu linn

We recently spent the weekend at this hotel for a nice stay in Parnu. I will say that this place is perfectly located between the beach and the downtown area. There is some parking available on site for free, but there is not enough room for all the patrons if the hotel is full. There is additional parking on the street (pay for this parking at a machine close by on the main road). Do not park on the grass side, this is actually a separate fine, in addition to not paying for parking. Once you get into the hotel, I must stress there is NOT a front desk to check in. You have to do it online to get your door code. I will say that once checked in, this code system is a great way to get in and out of your rooms - no need to take a card to the beach. As for the rooms, they were just what we needed. The beds were very comfortable and lots of room to store clothes. There is a nice small pool on site, that would be great for a family stay, or a quick splash with a drink. It does close (pool cover), so make sure you know the hours. Biggest gripe was with the clear intention to hide the fact that any customer left without a parking spot in the courtyard would face the city's 30€/day parking fee. When booking, it could be understood that you can park for free on the street if there is no free space in the courtyard. Hotel can of course claim that the customer needs to ask for further details by calling them or finding out city policies but for fairness this is a thing that needs to be disclosed clearly while booking. The place also has no one on-site which can cause issues if the other residence don't behave or there are issues which need someone on-site. No free breakfast since 2024 is a minus. Nice and cosy hotel. Stayed wth our dog. Od you have any wishes, be sure you send an email for the wishes u have, because If you write those on the booking system (message to the hotel) you cannot get those we asked downstairs and they did not ”get the message” just saying it doesn’t show here on the system. They Keep asking for the email. Rooms are clean, there is a hairdryer. Breakfast is continental type, there is everything u need.|Staff is ok, but the smile doesn’t get to the eyes.
