I was driving on my own to the hotel and to be honest it's not that easy to spot for such a big building. Once you've actually found it head into the underground car park which is on the roundabout. The hotel has its own area marked in green and a dedicated way into the hotel via a passageway and lift.||||Checking in was no problem and the receptionist spoke good English.||||If you've stayed at a Holiday Inn express or Hampton Hilton you'll have a good idea of the standard of the rooms. Mine was clean comfortable and well sound proofed.||||The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the restaurant area in town or 30 seconds from McDonald's so there's really no need for staying in to eat.||||Breakfast is a simple continental affair simple and good.||||WiFi worked all over the hotel but did require regular re-registering.||||Best thing about this hotel were the staff who were all excellent without exception. Read moreCampanile in Ales was really there in a time of emergency. Not only was it there, but the night hostess was nothing short of amazing. She welcomed us at around midnight with a huge smile and made sure that we would have the best accommodation possible, as she could sense we had had an emergency. The hotel itself was clean, the room comfortable and the amenities clean as well. But it is really the staff of this Campanile (a company we had no idea about) that made our stay.
