Résidence Le Plein Sud — Hotel in Albertville

This is my second ski season staying here, and I’ll probably keep coming back in the future!

The facilities are excellent—my studio has two single beds, a lovely little balcony, and is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, washing machine, and dishwasher. The Wi-Fi in the room is amazing—fast and stable!

There are two heaters, so the room is always warm, and there’s an endless supply of hot water!

The landlord and long-term tenants are very friendly, making this ski season feel incredibly cozy and welcoming.

Right outside the building, there’s a free shuttle bus to the gondola station—just check the schedule. If you wake up early, you can ski from the moment the resort opens until it closes.

The building entrance has a keypad lock, and there’s a ski storage room downstairs for storing your gear.

Cute, cozy apartment with everything you could need! Beds are very comfortable; hot water is seemingly endless; the kitchen is well stocked (there's even a dishwasher!); the internet is fast and reliable. We loved the balcony, the view, and the amount of natural sunlight (there is also a blackout shutter which is amazing for sleeping!). Can't beat the price for easy access to skiing the 3 Valleys! There are ski lockers on the bottom floor, and a free shuttle that runs in the morning and afternoon that stops right outside the residence to bring you to the gondola. Then a scenic 25 minute gondola ride brings you right to the base of Meribel. The owner is so sweet and welcoming. She's quick to respond and happy to help with anything you need. Très déçue de mon séjour au Plein sud pendant ma cure. J’ai fait remarquer après une semaine aux propriétaires que le frigo faisait du bruit et me réveillait la nuit : ils m’ont proposé de laisser la porte-fenêtre ouverte pour que le bruit du torrent couvre celui du frigo, ou mettre des boule quies. De bonne volonté, j’ai essayé ces deux « solutions » qui n’ont pas marché. Les propriétaires m’ont finalement proposé 4 jours avant la fin de ma cure d’utiliser le frigo d’un autre studio et d’éteindre le mien. Ayant moi-même travaillé dans l’hôtellerie, où la satisfaction des clients étaient pour moi le cœur du métier, j’attends d’un hôte qu’il prenne au sérieux un problème que je rencontre et me propose une...
