La Fabrik — Restaurant in Albertville

Our special place in Brides les Bains. The food is excellent. We haven’t tried a dish that we didn’t like. The butternut soup with truffle oil is excellent. The focaccia as a “to share” appetizer it’s delicious.

More plates to enjoy; The steak it’s ultra tender The fondue (a typical mountain/alps dish) is excellent the pistachio pizza 🍕 yummy the canard yummy x2 the hamburger 🍔 was juicy and delicious

desserts: tiramisu of the week (apparently they change the flavor every week, we tried the; Oreo, lyon and speculos! They were all good but our fav was the lyon tiramisu “marrons suisse” super creamy and delicious. « Moelleux de chocolat » excellent🤤 the pistachio cheesecake WOWWWW!! It has a slightly pistachio flavor, it’s soft, creamy and spectacular

Cocktails Nowwww this is a blast. I personally find difficult to find good cocktails in France (outside Paris). And this was a pleasant surprise; one of the best moscow mules we’ve tried, the Bloody Mary was particularly good (even if I prefer it a little bit spicier and with more lime but this it’s just a Personal preference.)

Small recommendations for the restaurant: -it might be great to add a little special sauce for the “tapas”, maybe a hot tomato sauce. -the steak tartar needed particularly more salt and seasoning

Avoid if you don’t like your burgers raw!

Ordered the burger which came raw understand French may undercook their beef however asked for this to be recooked longer in which it was however they only recooked half so they brought the same plate back out and the other half of the burger was still raw! Because of this I did not eat the burger so refused to pay, the waiter then advised me it’s not possible and I have to pay for something I had 1 mouthful from, went to the manager at the front bar and was told by the same waiter we asked for it to be rare cooked when ordering which is false and incorrect when we were not even given an option or choice on how we wanted the burger meat cooked because otherwise it would have been asked for medium well! Management handled the situation well and we only paid for 1 of the burgers as we requested, perhaps management should speak to their staff on how they treat customers in these situations and ensure they are not accusing someone of lying when they did not ask what they claim they did on how we wanted the burger cooked! The same waiter then began to slag us off in French when they knew we couldn’t understand!

Would not recommend and would definitely not waste my time visiting again if ever back in...

Overall disappointing! When we first arrived we requested a table for 3 people and the waitress serving us was rude, she didn't inform us too much verbally she just pulled faces then said we could have a table but we need to be finished by 8pm which is fair enough. When we sat at the table I noticed the wine glasses were dirty however the restaurant itself was very clean with a nice layout! We ordered our food and I specifically requested a pizza without cheese when the food came to the table I noticed there were little bits of cheese on the pizza. I saw they had made the effort not to add the cheese everywhere but there were a few small pieces all over the pizza. It was difficult to notice and I think this can be dangerous for people suffering with allergies! We informed the waitress and she ordered me a new one! The food was okay and a little bland but my friends really enjoyed their dishes so perhaps it was just my plate. Later we ordered a bottle of sparkling water and the waitress informed us that we would have to pay which I find unusual as to us it's obvious we would have to pay. Overall I don't recommend eating here unless you are absolutely starving and have no...
