Ginkgo Maison d'hôtes — Hotel in Amiens

Our stay at Ginkgo Maison d’Hôtes was truly special. This charming family-run guesthouse radiates warmth and care in every detail — you can feel the love and thought that has gone into creating such a welcoming space.

When we arrived, the host wasn’t there in person, but she had thoughtfully arranged for us to enter via a secure lockbox with a code she sent in advance — a smooth and convenient process after our travels. The next morning, after a delicious and varied breakfast, we met her in person. She was incredibly friendly, taking the time to share wonderful tips about Amiens and the surrounding area, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, with tasteful touches that make you feel at home yet still give a sense of quiet luxury. Every corner seemed thoughtfully arranged, from the cozy bedding to the charming little details.

We had a very comfortable 2-night stay in this lovely quiet little hotel just a 15 minute walk from Amien's cathedral. |Our room (ensuite) was well presented and spotlessly clean with an extremely comfortable bed, although the WC was small. |Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and our host offering to freshly cook eggs and bacon. |But what really made our stay was our very lovely host, Julie, who went out of her way to ensure we were well looked after in her beautiful home and had all of the information we needed to ensure we had a fabulous time in Amiens. |Thank you Julie. Myself and my wife stayed here over weekend 25-27th of November 22. Julie the host is warm and open and offers a lovely bed and breakfast. Room was lovely, clean and warm. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a selection of other tasty offerings, yogurt, bread, cheese, ham, preserves and cereal. On street parking with a small cost but there is plenty of free car parking nearby. Ideal for Amien town centre five minutes' walk and near Cirque jules Verne.
