The hotel is located next to one of the most beautiful beaches in French Polynesia: Matira beach. I stayed in the beach bungalow (the one closest to the beach) and it was great to open the door every morning and have the beach and the beautiful turquoise sea in front of you. The beach is public so it's a good choice to lock the door when you're not there.||The breakfast is simple but it's good and they leave it every morning at your door. ||The bungalows are roomy, the only disadvantage is that they have no air conditioning. I stayed in May when the weather is hot and humid but not excessively hot (28C/83F during the day, 25C/77F at night), so it was not so terrible not to have it, but i would have definitely turned it on if there had been one.||The hotel has also a beautiful garden where the bungalows are located.||The place is a very good option if you want to avoid other expensive hotels...
Read moreTo stay here was amazing, not only because of the kindness of Miranda and the staff, mostly because of the concept of the Hotel. We stayed 6 nights. It is located in an amazing beach (Matira) that is the only public one so this permits a contact with the locals. As it doesnt have any common area it permits you to feel by your own and in perfect contact with the island, avoiding that "resort flavour" that at least our kind of travelers like to avoid. The breakfast is amazing presented every morning, served in the room. Also an amazing value for the money, the best we found in the island by far. I will recomend it to...
Read moreI think this place has the best location on mainland Bora Bora, right on the prettiest stretch of Matira beach!||The sand is only a few steps away, especially if you booked one of the two beachfront bungalows.||The bungalows are big with two double beds, closets, a seating area with outdoor space and of course toilet and shower. There is a fridge, but no TV and no air condition. The bungalow's drawback is that is so dark; the floors, walls and ceiling are made of dark wood and there are no real windows, only wooden jalousies that you most likely want to keep closed due to mosquitos.||||A tasty breakfast is included (coffee/tea, baguette, different jams, pain chocolat, croissants and juice).||||Staff is nice and helpful and they speak English. A transfer from the dock in Vaitape is offered for a fee and wifi...
