Had breakfast here daily as it was included in our package for staying at the hotel. As all goods are pricey on Bora Bora, we ate here but honestly only because it was free. I will say the servers were all friendly except one lady who seemed irritated at our requests for ice, as a guest of the over water bungalows. The lunch and dinner looked great but I went for a walk to find other options. Prices are comparable for the other restaurants. The view is great as others have mentioned. So my feedback is more from the hotel guest perspective and quality I thought was meh. The powdered eggs were runny, bacon terribly undercooked and laying in a vat of grease. The frozen hash browns should have been fried instead of warmed up so they could have been crispy instead of soggy. Fresh fruits and bread/jelly choices were good! Good in a pinch, no complaints for free...but if I had paid for their breakfast,...

Je suis partagé par cet établissement, car même si vous êtes client de l'hôtel MAITAI je vous conseille de réserver une table à chaque fois que vous souhaitez y dîner. Elle est bien située en bord de plage. A vrai dire, nous avions failli ne pas pouvoir dîner par manque de place. De plus étant un dimanche, et sans voiture, nous n'avions pas beaucoup de choix. La manager m'informe qu'une table est au dessert, nous décidons de patienter sur une table extérieure pour prendre un apéro, malgré le vent et quelques petites averses qui ne nous a pas dérangé. 5 minutes plus tard, elle vient nous voir en disant que l'accueil vient de bloquer une table de 8....donc plus de table, alors que mon mari et moi étions là avant. Elle nous propose de dîner dehors. Avec le mauvais temps que se faisait de plus en plus présent, je décide que non. Mais malheureusement le resto que je conseille fortement où nous avions dîner la veille au FARE MANUIA 5min à pied était déjà full. Du coup, on se résigne à rester là et dîner à l'extérieur. Je demande à la serveuse si c'est encore possible de commander à dîner, elle me répond qu'elle doit voir avec la manager. 5min plus tard celle-ci arrive, et me dit "vous avez changer d'avis"? Moi "je n'ai pas le choix, sinon on ne mangera pas ce soir". Puis a pris notre commande. Et bien sûre, sans surprise, au moment où on nous sert nos plats, bam la pluie ☔. La gentille serveuse nous à inviter à rentrer dans le restaurant pour dîner où une table s'était libéré, sous le regard de la manager, qui n'était pas tout à fait d'accord. (Ce fut mon ressenti) Et ne soyez pas trop pressé, l'attente des plats est très longue, même les voisins de tables ont fait la réflexion. 1h pour une salade ....🤨 Vérifiez bien que les digestifs commandé soient bien les bons, on nous a apporté du cognac à la place du Grand Marnier... faut vraiment le faire! Bien sûre je sais faire la différence et ai demandé à changer. Les plats proposés sont simples, pas gastronomique non plus. On y reste manger pour le cadre qui est agréable. Les serveuses bien que surchargés de travail sont sympathique et font de leur mieux. Mon avis, la capacité d'accueil du restaurant n'est pas la même que celle de l'hôtel qui est trop petite. Je précise également que nous sommes des locaux avec le physique qui va avec, et habitons Tahiti. Depuis la pandémie, on nous dit CONSOMMER LOCAL, pour aider les entreprises de la Polynésie Française à remonter la pente. Oui les touristes étrangers sont revenu tant mieux, mais là on s'est senti comme pas les bienvenus dans cet établissement. D'ailleurs nous étions les seuls tahitiens...
